Oh, my fricking god, this reminds me of one of my uncles who I don't know why is even allowed to handle his own money. I have an uncle, who is quite literally mentally kind of impaired (as in a person who deviates drastically from the average intelligence, yet he still handles his finances which is beyond me) . One day apparently some dude contacts him through freaking FACEBOOK of all platforms and asks him if he wants to make an unlimited amount of money. yada yada later this guy has convinced my dumbass uncle to send him a 1000 dollars through Bitcoin, and he comes to me and I tell him, what the fuck he's doing (not literal but my tone implied that) and I ask him why can't the sum just be deducted from the money he's supposed to send you? In the end, this guy does not fucking listen, and......poof all that money is gone... But that's not all, He comes to me again! this time about this other dude contacting him through Facebook, again! This time this dude had promised to turn him into an IllUmInATi, and my dumbass uncle kept sending him bitcoin money. This guy says He's from the UK but when I check the phone it's clearly a number from Nigeria (oh oh! red flag right? not for my dumbassed uncle), eventually this guy asks for 4000 dollars, almost 4 months' worth of minimum salary here. At this point I get fucking irritated and explain to my uncle: "hey you are getting scammed, how can you not see that for the love of God, I even found his phone number linked with phones being used in scams, the name he's using is from a dead person famous in Nigeria, please! listen to me!" I even made him call the dude, which answered with the thickest Nigerian accent, and the guy assures my uncle: No X, trust me, I'm not a scammer (Scammah as he said), send the (da) money. Luckily I convinced my uncle not to send the money....... for that day at least. Apparently, the dude convinced my uncle that I'm jealous and don't want to see my uncle prosper, needless to say, I was fucking angry, 4000 dollars worth of bitcoin when it was below 20k, motherfucker! You would think my uncle would stop but no he continued to get scammed thousands in similar ways throughout these years, and eventually, there was a period when he stopped getting scammed and earned a lot of money as a gardener but... good things don't last forever..... Last 2 or 3 weeks ago he came asking pops to borrow money because, and I quote, he said that "I need to pay the Illuminati 5000 dollars and If I don't in x amount of days I'll die!" and the fucker considered selling his car to get the money (since obvious me and dad are not going to help that idiot). It seems he managed to pay the money and supposedly awaited a car as a reward... it's been some days and he's been quiet. I know it's HIS money but for CHRIST SAKE how can someone but so damn stupid and be allowed to have control over their own damn money.

Considering Wasabi is open source it’s not Wasabi that’s the problem its the zkSnacks run coordinator- which is compromised. SAKE is just a viable alternative anonymous coordinator- users can also spin up a coordinator.
