Based in the US? How much RSU’s do you have? I work for the PSP team, based out of Idaho.
Can you share more details. I came across a you tube video where they talked about PSP being superior to CSP. Is it because you get the stock upside while also earning premium? I wonder what happens when market tanks - downside exposure will impact your portfolio size and wouldn't the cash/margin requirement expand?
PSP has seen a decline in transaction with an emphasis on TM growth....however TPV is up...so larger order sizes just less orders. Meanwhile Brended trasaction growing 6% YoY
I don't think most people understand that the US does have a kernel-lrvel backdoor into almost every commercial PC (Intel ME/AMD PSP) and most phones (DSP/Pluton security modules). Unless you're a full luddite or living in a faraday cage, the US can spy the fuck out of anyone they want.
SEA here. I go to GUA quarterly for medical and dental, et al. Cheaper than flying into PSP these days.
I mean Sony wants some of the mobile market. The Nintendo DS and Switch basically buried the PSP and PS Vita.
You could short publicly traded PE firms or PE ETFs like PSP or PEX. And I'm sure there are private credit firms and ETFs too.
If you look at the Invesco private equity ETF: PSP it went from 135 to 27 during the housing bubble crash, and then remained stuck in a channel with zero gain ever since, with a roughly 4.6% dividend. So it acts like a bond fund, but gets wrecked during sharp economic downturns.
My dad bought me a Gameboy advance sp when I was in grade 1 and a PSP when I was in grade 4. My dad is a good guy 😥 I just misunderstand him sometimes :(
The Vita+3DS sold about 60% less than PSP + DS. The handheld market was seen as doomed.
I haven't even played GTA 1-5 , the only GTA games I played was on the PSP
I hold 40 shares of paypal after selling 28 shares at 80-90USD on the run up. While I am very excited for PayPal Ads, the remainder of the business is very solid as well. PSP which was the drag down in profitability has started dropping revenue (-4% Q1/25-Q1/24) in order to bring up the transaction margin dollars . The company manages over 25% of the world ecommerce, has venmo, and OVAS (Other value added services) which grew 16% Q/Q and is close to representing 10% of revenue. PayPal ads is currently in OVAS even though not disclosed, soon when and if it takes off it will be reported separately. I’d say look deep at the numbers, their balance sheet is a fortress as well, pretty much works like a bank / insurance, enjoys almost +1B of free cash flow from interest on customer funds (customer funds have been going up meaning people are leaving their money in the app), margins have improved, opex is under control, 6B buyback (21B total) + possibility for dividend in the future (see investor day, “other ways of returning value to shareholders”. P/fcf, p/e, roe, roic (could be better, but is good) and the roa can’t really account because of customer funds but if you remove them it becomes much better looking. Cash from operations is solid, operating income is increasing and earnings per share is compounding nicely. Sorry this is a bit messy am 5 min from starting my shift but love the company and really believe that while it is not google, apple, microsoft, it is a good business at a good price. So I bought it.
So ... Polestar is a Swedish EV brand founded by Volvo, which is owned by China’s Geely. It went public via a U.S. SPAC and trades on the NASDAQ under PSNY. The company is headquartered in Sweden, most production happens in China (thanks to Geely), and new manufacturing is ramping up in the U.S. (South Carolina). Geely, directly and via Volvo, holds a majority stake. So it’s Swedish design, Chinese ownership and manufacturing power, and U.S. market presence — a true global mix. (Besides Geely and Volvo, Polestar has had investments from BlackRock, Fidelity, Vanguard, PSP Investments, and the Qatar Investment Authority - Qatar is in Volvo.) As of December 31, 2024, here are the top institutional investors in Polestar: 1. Amf Tjanstepension Ab – 21.97M shares ($21.91M) 2. Swedbank Ab – 11.76M shares ($11.73M) (-0.05%) 3. BlackRock, Inc. – 7.47M shares ($7.45M) (+513.59%) 4. UBS Group Ag – 5.74M shares ($5.72M) (+4656.16%) 5. Fjarde Ap-Fonden / Fourth Swedish National Pension Fund – 4.37M shares ($4.36M) 6. State Street Corp – 3.79M shares ($3.77M) (+85.30%) 7. Alecta Tjanstepension Omsesidigt – 2.93M shares ($2.92M) 8. Tredje Ap-Fonden – 2.81M shares ($2.81M) (-14.38%) 9. Saba Capital Management, L.P. – 2.25M shares ($2.24M) 10. Bank of America Corp / De/ – 2.01M shares ($2.01M) (-13.63%) Notably, BlackRock and UBS have significantly increased their holdings.
I have 20 years of graphic design experience, professional, have taught classes etc. I know how to use the Adobe suit and started in Jasc PSP before Photoshop was popular and Corel before that lol. I still do graphics design daily. What I'm saying is you are ignorant. Do you have chatGPT 4o with image gen? How many hours have you used that particular model (not DALL-E, the new 4o image gen). It fills every . use . case. lol everything is just about solved. If you argue you probably haven't used it to its full capabilities. And by the way, in 1 year it will be 10X better. It's already better than me at nearly everything, UI, logo, web, print, illustration, typography, menus, signage, I have 10k hours and many awards and everyone who sees my stuff thinks I'm great. But I'm telling you it's completely over for Adobe, I will not need it anymore. 95% is now on AI. Good luck,
Yes, but are you making the maximum you can? I buy sector ETFs and dividend ETFs instead, and focus on individual stocks. Take ETFs like PPA, KRE, PSP, MLPX over the past year compared to only holding VOO in a coma. Massive growth *and* divs. Then CC ETFs like JEPQ, GPIX, BITO, GLDI (technically an ETN) for more divs, lots of choices that are all doing well compared to slow ass passive ETFs and boomer stocks. If a market segment slows down you can rebalance and the divs keep you alive, with VOO you are slowed down by the slow segments and you don't get *monthly* income. For stocks I put most into TSMC, Nvidia, Amazon, Raytheon, Broadcom, and a few others that are more risky like Cloudflare and Palantir, plus gas, electricity, and shipping. You can't get that kind of balance and performance from VOO.
Intel only company with NSA keys in every Intel ME. (AMD have NSA keys in AMD PSP). Ain't no way Uncle Sam is giving up that backdoor.
Hmm, imo for most diverse reach, you'd want exposure to different asset classes, so one ETF for stocks, bonds, and commodities, for the 4th, I was originally thinking cypto, but personally, I would be more interested in exposure to PE or HFs. So, personally, I would go something along the lines of VT (stock), BND (bonds), PDBC (commodities), PSP (PE) You'd want to dig in deeper to their holdings to minimize overlap/correlation, and/or sub in something different for VT if you want more tech exposure (QQQ maybe), and BND if you want more yield (HYG maybe).
I used to for a bank, basically just lied to the interviewer about having experience and when i got in the actual position i basically just sat in an office and played PSP most of the time.
You can simplify PayPal into three main segments: *Branded checkout: the PayPal button, competitor here would be the likes of Apple Pay *Unbranded/PSP/Braintree: this is the e-commerce acquiring business, main competitors are Adyen and Stripe *Venmo: P2P transfer, compare to Block’s Cash App Each segment has its own unique challenges and dynamics. If you have access to Morningstar, I highly recommend starting with their report on Adyen and then PayPal. [This article](https://www.techinvestments.io/p/problems-for-adyen-and-paypal-in?r=6gq23&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post&triedRedirect=true) is also quite good, even though part of it is locked behind a paywall.
Over the months, allegations has been made and disproved and share prices reacted accordingly. Short sellers are able to pile on rily and allegations made so easily, is because rily has a lack of sell-side coverage. Therefore, shareholders mainly depends on mgmt for update. Beside the allegations, the main genuine concern of longer term income shareholders would be on rily debt, its deleveraging exercise and will it be able to sustain its dividend payouts. However, to make it clear, rily has no issue in serving its interest payment obligation on their baby bonds n debts. A simple PR update on progression sale of GAG, PSP/W&W or VS or the many others potential asset that can be unlocked in their book. It would definitely squeeze the stock upwards to 30s to 40s range. Rily has the ability to deleverage comfortably through asset sales, this will help to alleviate long term income shareholder concern and push the stock back upwards to 30s to 40s range. Patience is required for this play, as we depends for mgmt's engagement and execution to bring about rily;s value.
As a retail investor you could play it by investing in PSP. It's an ETF that invests in publicly traded private equity firms. It's not the same but a good poxy if you like the asset class.
I'm with you that AMD and Nvidia have no affect on ARM. But just a heads up all Ryzen CPUs have an ARM core (or two) for security. It's called the AMD PSP. Pretty low powered though so not cutting edge whatsoever.
I actually recently sold all my NTDOY around $14. I had held it for awhile and was avg cost in the high 9s. I bought it because I grew up on Nintendo and saw their additional monetization of Online as well as their movie as successful revenue expansion. What changed my thesis was something I didn't expect. I bought a SteamDeck. This is essentially a handheld/mobile pc running the steam OS system. So when you buy games on steam you can play them on both the handheld or your gaming pc. Not every steamdeck user needs a gaming pc, but I'd imagine many do including myself. As a recent parent, it felt harder and harder to sit at my pc to game and the only real handheld options have been the switch or mobile phone gaming. I kept feeling like I was missing out on great games on pc though. I pulled the trigger on the Deck and it was the best gaming decision I've made in the last 10 years. The more I look online, I see many people feel the same, while simultaneously people feel nintendo is stagnating with pokemon and I'd go as far to say even zelda. TotK was a success and improvement over BotW, but I'd say many people preferred BotW because it felt more fresh at the time. Regardless, Nintendo hasn't had a true handheld competitor console since the PSP which never really competed. I think we are in the early stages of the SteamDeck cutting into that marketshare. There are even knockoff SteamDecks coming to market to further muddy the water. I think Nintendo knows this. Maybe it's only a matter of time until they open their IP to pc and maybe that would even benefit the company. All that aside, I promise you, if you play on a SteamDeck and you play on a Switch you will instantly know the SteamDeck is better at everything other than not having Nintendo IP which are becoming less relevant imo. I own no shares of Nintendo at the moment and I would buy a metric ton of Valve if they were public.
Your choice, ark is known for being deceptive and terrible with their products. This is also not a "brand new" thing, it's almost a year and a half old and only 50 million assests is atrocious. QGRW, which isn't very well known at all is similar age and has around 300 million. If you want some other private equity take a look at PEX or PSP. Both much bigger and from much better companies.
The only hilarious thing is that China had AMD or Intel in gvmt computers for this long, considering IME and AMD PSP are a security risk even for consumers/businesses.
It makes sense. Look up Intel ME and AMD PSP. They’re basically CPU level back doors and mini-OS’s that run on the system in secret.
I didn't know the PSP had trading on it
flashback to the demo disc that came with first gen PSP
As someone who used jasc PSP before photoshop even got popular (Eg 20+ years in graphic design) I don't think Adobe can survive. Graphic design has been solved by AI programs. Sure Adobe can integrate them but let's say 90% of the demand has essentially disappeared overnight and we should see that slowly factored into their share price over time. I can't see anything Adobe can offer in the future that an AI tool by big tech can't do just as well. Only the last bit of super professionals are there, and even that will decline as far as I can tell. Initially I wanted to invest in Adobe because what's better than photoshop + AI integration? But what is better is not using photoshop anymore :'(
The PSP has existed since there were enough men to have a peepee 2 standard deviations below norm
The PSP was so ahead of its time
We did whole life inside a PSP somehow this tied into a buy/sell agreement // cashed it in after 20 years / retired and have no regrets
Unspoken benefit to the company, we had a top heavy PSP with 5 year vesting and all of the invested assets ended up in the owners account
You're right my ex-wife was really good about watching those deals we flipped a bunch of PSP games on Ebay right around Christmas one year. She found a good deal on one of the Monster Hunter games and bought 10 copies for like $15 and sold them for $50 it's how we bought Christmas that year had to have been our 2003-2005
Anything with batteries might get a little spicy once in a while 🔥. I've personally known owners of a Subaru, Chevy, and a Ford to have their vehicles unfortunately light on fire. Those rare incidents don't make those brands bad brands, although trying to convince the owners otherwise is a different story. The actual rate of Tesla fires compared to the ICE market as a whole is completely negligible for now, as my swollen PSP can attest sometimes we won't know the answers for years.
The PSP was really the best when it came to that, years before the iPhone. Porn on the living room TV via the Wii when the house was empty was also fun.
Use ur head genius, look at the TPV numbers and the growth rates. In online TPV, Braintree matched Adyen this year and is closing in on Stripe. Want to talk about valuation? Stripe led a down round valuing them at 50 billion, still less than PayPal. Funny you want to talk about margins… Stripe’s gross margins are 25% and they lost 80 million last year and will squeak out a 100 million EBITDA profit this year after laying off 14% of their company. Stripe is a great company with great products and they’ve definitely taken market share against incumbent PSP, but there’s this narrative that they are this unbeatable giant which is just not true.
World and Iceborne made up about half of my hours. The other half spread out between the other games starting with freedom unite on PSP.

I use Excel and many formulas I've added over the years. It shows me the stock ticker, CP (current price), APP (Average Purchase Price), Average down "Reinvestment" rank (#1 best for averaging down), invested amount, shares, CV (Current Value), P&L (Profit & Loss $), P&L per share, PLP (P&L percent), PSP (Projected Sale Price), PSP P&L %, PSP P&L $, etc. All automatically calculated.
Really? that's a good thing. Frickin Sony for YEARS - everything was proprietary - and I'd say they were successful at creating the consumer's choice format about half the time SD card? Nope Sony makes you use memory stick duo for that digital camera CD? Minidisc.... HD-DVD? How about the nonsense titled Bluray (Can't believe that one worked) UMDs for the PSP I know these aren't cables but it's similar and such a shitty thing that companies do. (Pretty sure Sony did this with cables too)
I don’t own a PSP. Not sure why. The coolest thing I have is a Game Gear.
i wanted a complete in box PSP1000 for my collection
> the company is reliant upon the grand theft auto series and if the next one is a flop then they could be in trouble" They clearly do not know anything about Take Two then, while GTA is their most successful franchise, they seem to ignore the NBA and WWE series and the fact they also own Zynga, a very successful mobile studio. GTA has already flopped a few times: GTA Advance was the worst selling GTA title ever (worse than the PS1 titles), GTA IV: EFLC was confirmed to have badly missed sales expectations (why GTA V never got story DLC) and of course, the GTA Definitive Edition, which was panned and roasted everywhere. Of course it could be argued those titles weren't "main" titles so it's not as bad as if it was, but still, GTA has had it's taste of failures too. >GTA being a flop might be the most laughable concept in the fucking universe Also re:this, mainline GTA titles have always been in the console and PC best-sellers, pretty much PS2's best selling titles was GTA SA, PSP was Vice City Stories, Xbox 360 has GTA IV and GTA V in the top 10, and GTA V is still always in the top 10 most played games on Steam (excluding Epic and RGSC). The ONLY way GTA VI will be a flop is if they pull a Cyberpunk/another GTA Definitive Edition. Which, knowing Rockstar's very strict views on perfectionism for their mainline titles, is very unlikely to happen. Regardless if GTA VI is "good" or not, it's pretty much guaranteed to be a best seller of the year.
Name one that looks like a ps3 title, they are all blurry with low res textures. Dont say zelda because that looks like ps2 or PSP.
I am an firearms attorney in Pennsylvania, so I work directly with the PSP attorneys who litigate firearms prohibition issues. I know there are plenty of reasons to be hopeful, but Pennsylvanians should absolutely NOT touch a firearm if they have a medical marijuana card. Sure, the state's law won't prohibit you, and the FFL you buy from won't know you have a medical card. But once you use that firearm in a self defense situation of something, you risk federal gun charges and elevations to any state crimes because it is the PSP position that you are prohibited from possession of a firearm while you hold a medical card AND for one year after it expires. They consider you a "current year drug user" because they have evidence of use of a Schedule 1 drug once you get that card.
Dave Ramsey is a shitheel. I asked my personal finance teacher (a soccer coach, go figure) why we were taking advice from a man who overextended himself, went bankrupt, and decided to give financial advice for a living after deciding that debt was evil… all while using debt financing like a sane person in his private life. Did it stop the Dave Ramsey? No. Did I get to play on my PSP in the back if I shut the fuck up? Yes.
Wow your post history is freaking hilarious. You posted this 6 days ago. "How to do DD on stocks? Only know how to follow memes ngl." You also posted how to sell a PSP because you're that broke. LOL, this explains so much. You're poor and stupid, great combo there. Have fun at Wendy's behind the dumpster.
About 12 years ago someone bought a PSP from me on eBay. Immediately after sending the shipping confirmation, they reversed payment claiming they never got the item. PayPal immediately sided with them. I haven't used PayPal since. The genius also used their real name and address. They've moved a few times, but I still check in every once in a while to send a good ol' glitterbomb their way.
Made the mistake of staying at a not straight nerds house the last 6 months. He was the works, the biggest stereotype alive. Morbidly clean, herbal drinks, organic chips, and a specific dish for each meal. I left on Friday. Did not return my key. I have washed my clothes five times to get the smell out. There were boxes of his stuff in the room I was staying in. Dolls, a nice doll house, and rags covered with white stains. Reams of rags. A PSP, birthday cards from family. Finally got to the bottom of the last box and there's a big ol' black dildoe down there. I think I touched it briefly with my bare hands before realizing what it was. Hands still hurt from the scalding water but it needed to happen. Neddless to say that was my last day there. People are the worst and must be avoided.
Damn tons of haters on this guy, seems like a lot of you broke bitches are trading on PSP’s and the Nintendo DS… he will most likely loose money though, I loose money on 2 companies when I use 2 screens. Nice setup though, I’ll be sure to test it out next time I’m over sinking my dick in your wife.
His avatar looks like the SIMS on my PSP from 15 years ago?
Does anybody remember the PSP I used to look at porn on the PSP
If we are putting DocuSign in doubt due to its profitability issues.. then how do we qualify a company like dochub? I just checked their site and seems to be free for up to 2000 docs, and then you would just pay 4$/month. How is that sustainable? If you were a serious corporate, would you trust this company? And I don't think they are widely integrated with other big platforms (CRM, PSP, Outlook, etc..) because that's what makes you burn a lot of cash during development phase. I am personally using Sign Now as it was a bit cheaper than DocuSign. We have to assume that loss making companies won't survive over the long-term, only the big ones, the ones that are really investing in the long-term and becoming "popular" will have the chance to stay in the market. I always felt like all these SaaS with cheaper offer but not much improvement in features... are just waiting their exit plan and cash-in before they burst.
Did anyone else punch or hit their sibling(s) until their parent(s) would give them what they wanted or do what they wanted like going somewhere? * When I was younger I really wanted a PSP to play Dream Drop Distance on. Never bought any games for it after she bought it, but PSPs still look pretty cool so it's like a collectible for me now, just wish my mother had kept the box to it. 😔😮💨

Hi All, UK investor here, long story short. My longterm stocks originally were: ABNB/GOOG/TSLA/NVDA/SCHD/AAPL Markets changed, and although I dca into these still, I also have a number of stocks in oil, metals, gas, financials, etc. Most are doing well (like 80% are green). However, I thought of allocating some of my portfolio into reits. No more than 10%. I recently bought IUKP iShares UK Property (only 1.27% allocation). However, my broker doesn't have an ETF for the EU market and I've read that Germany and Switzerland can be profitable. So I did some research and wondered if these would be better to buy, and ditch the ETF. [LI.PA](https://LI.PA) (France), PLD (US), PSA (US), O (US), SBA (US) , LAND (UK) , LXI (not available on my broker but is in the IUKP ETF...) , SAFE (UK) , AMT (US), PSP (Swiss). Unless I'm mistaken, these are all currently outperforming the market also. Thanks in advance.
You can't defer for a year without a plan in place, so you'd need to get creative. Safest? VCP. Wanna roll the dice? If it's a solo k write up a PSP for 2021, k effective 2022, recharacterize as an employer contribution and clean up the tax returns affected.
Haha bag Reddit man I miss surfing 4chan on my PSP circa ‘06 brother 😭😭😭
He was probably playing his PSP on the ground.
You mean the AMD PSP of which they were one of the first to offer the capability of disabling? It is an arm trustzone core and far more stripped down than intel ME which had an entire remote network module?
YESSSS I fucking love god of war specially on the PSP fuck
Redditor: >My fiancé has a playtest copy of the canceled Star Wars: Battlefront III for PSP Other even lamer Redditor: >Reach out to Modern Vintage Gamer so this can be properly preserved. 3rd level thinking Redditor: >Me, the one posting this making fun of them
All of my computers are AMD since meltdown in 2018. I'm sure AMD however have their own unpatched, 0day versions of meltdown. They have a PSP just like Intel's ME so five eyes can spy on you even when your computer is turned off, so privacy wise nothing is perfect.
I haven’t played that game since it was on PSP
For sure I’ll see what else I can download onto my PSP. BOTW is the only reason I’ll buy a Switch even tho I don’t know shit about the series at all lol. Same with PSVR I’ll only buy whatever edition it when Half Life Alyx gets on.
Maybe a CFD on an ETF based on PE/VC? PEX - ProShares, PSP - Invesco, IPRV -iShares Or short an asset manager with significant presence in PE/VC? Blackstone, CVC, Carlyle Group, say?
MH used to be exclusive Sony on PSP, nothing new there. Them Japanese company love their own platform
This is mostly fine, drop VTI because it’s covered in the first four, tone down the 3x leverage because you want to retire, not end up behind Wendy’s when you turn 65. With the 10% freed up from VTI and, say, another 10% saved from SPXL, look into some alternative investment ETFs that will give you some diversification but still have strong growth (PSP and VNQ come to mind).

How much did AMC buy your PSP for? This is seriously the most retarded thing I've ever read (Not the good retard either) Ill tell you what the theatres did for me buddy, they sold me popcorn for $40.. I might as well compare Wendy's with APPLE while we're at it..
You might be able to play 3 on a 3ds emulator like citra, although what I hear is that it can be kinda finicky. I have no experience with PSP emulators, but persona 2 innocent sin is the only reason I bought and still play a psp.
I honestly don't see what you mean with UPS's massive size of aircraft and establishments? FYI FedEx owns all of their planes and UPS leases them, UPS owns all their buildings while FedEx leases them. Both Co copy each other like twins. But FDX started the airplane ownership back in 1973 when they started as shipping on planes only. I think back around 1998 FedEx was allowed to truck within the state? Yeah can you believe it? If you wanted to ship a package to your mother who lived only 10 miles away FedEx used to have to take it out of the state and bring it back in where UPS didn't. Talk about corruption with inter or intrastate trucking laws? They were totally against FedEx and I'm sure the UPS lobbied for that. FedEx went on a downward spiral because they didn't believe in one of their founding core principles, the P in their PSP philosophy which stands for people service profit. They heavily invested in TNT ( which the courts awarded to FDX instead of ups ) and that roll of the dice didn't pay off. So In turn they didn't keep up with the wages in the service industry and within the last 6-9 months when companies started increasing their wages to attract new employees? FedEx never budged internally or with new hires and as a matter of fact their internal step progression for employee raises is a total joke. You have employees who have worked there for almost 25 years and have not reached their top of range pay which is insane. So newer employees look at that and said we're out of here when they were offered more as a new employee from new employer off the street versus less as a tenured employee at FedEx. Walmart Target Amazon and others started paying new hires, warehouse employees picking orders, at a higher rate than what tenured employees at FedEx were making. That coupled with outdated equipment outdated benefits outdated principles and ideas? Landing new customers & keeping the old? Questions Wall Street wants answers to.

You can bring your PSP. No judgment from me.
My company is offering me to switch from a 401k PSP to a Roth account for contributions, still with the typical 3% match. I'm trying to figure out what I should do. Im 24 and work in Investment management but account type and *accounting* isn't my strong suit
Yeah, remember that time the Sega Game Gear, Atari Lynx, TurboExpress, PSP, and Vita are out and totally took over handheld gaming?
I am a bot from /r/wallstreetbets. You submitted one or more banned tickers: PSP. Message /u/zjz if they're above 1.25 billion-ish market cap and not related to crypto/pennies/OTC/SPACs.

If “Right to Repair” opens up my iPhone to PSP level cracking and HomeBrew, Apple is going to make more bong bong unga money than you’ve ever seen in your life. How? Just somehow, don’t question it Kappa.
Did you just say there was **LUMINES** on Apple Arcade? Holy shit I haven't played that game since I had it on PSP like 15 years ago! Weed and psychs and Lumines and you in for a good time
GTA Vice City Stories on PSP was pretty dope
The trend towards free to play and microtransactions, trend towards online multiplayer where everyone you know needs to own a copy anyways, plus most games not staying in the public consciousness for more than a few years, just does not make that a convincing argument imo. Pile on top of that, an entire generation is growing up with an ever increasing digitization of games, who may never have even owned physical copies (anecdotally I haven't owned a physical copy of a game since the PSP), and that's not a trend that is likely to reverse.
PSP and PEX but i’ve just begun to look so I need to spend more time
There is a big situation happening right now about this very thing - Sony recently announced they are closing the old PS Vita / PSP / PS3 store, and with that announcement people have realized that once the store goes down and the CMOS battery dies in their system, they probably won't be able to play their downloaded games anymore (I may not be explaining this correctly but it's something along these lines - basically the systems won't be able to do a digital hand-shake with the servers in order to play their games in the future) - so all these people that had paid for games are potentially SOL. Now they may figure out a solution to this, but they may not, and even though it's just on ONE service, it's going to be enough that people ask the same question about other services. What it all boils down to is that there is still a very compelling reason (aside from people just liking physical products) to only purchase physical games over digital.
I am lucky enough to still have a functioning PSP and War of the Lions for it. Still have my copy of the original and a working ps2 as well. Was playing it a few days ago, one of those games I just keep going back to.
The original DBZ manga from when Goku was a kid had one of the main characters shirtless showering in one of the frames First time I saw titties, it awakened the man in me and I started jerking off using my neighbors WiFi on my PSP to pictures that took five minutes to load.
