1) look at the parent comments I specifically responded to. A Roth wasn't mentioned.I was pointing out that a crypto ETF specifically, held at a broker, may have reporting requirements that other options do not (Roth or even taxable brokerage wasn't mentioned. Now if only there was a cold way to hold crypto offline... 2) as far as your concerns about Roth affecting financial aid, some private schools do require reporting of it from your CSS Profile. if your kid won't ever go private or you make too much to ever qualify for FA, this might not be an issue for you. OP may be different.

I plugged that image into chatGPT and it says it is a sankey diagram. Sankey diagrams can be created using various software tools, including: 1. **Microsoft Excel** - While Excel doesn't have built-in Sankey diagram templates, there are add-ins available that can enable you to create Sankey diagrams. 2. **Tableau** - This is a powerful data visualization tool that can create complex and beautiful Sankey diagrams, but it requires some expertise to manipulate the data appropriately. 3. **Google Charts** - Google offers a Sankey diagram feature in its charts collection, which is a good option for those who are looking for a free and web-based tool. 4. **SankeyMATIC** - This is a free, web-based tool specifically for building Sankey diagrams. It's user-friendly and doesn't require any download or installation. 5. **Plotly** - This is a library for Python, R, and JavaScript that allows you to create interactive Sankey diagrams that can be embedded in web pages. 6. **Highcharts** - A JavaScript charting library that allows for the creation of interactive Sankey diagrams along with a variety of other chart types. 7. **D3.js** - A JavaScript library for producing dynamic, interactive data visualizations in the web browser, including Sankey diagrams. It's quite flexible but requires a good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 8. **R** - The R programming language has several packages, like `networkD3`, that can be used to create Sankey diagrams for those comfortable with coding and data manipulation. 9. **Python** - With libraries such as `matplotlib`, `seaborn`, and `plotly`, Python can generate detailed and interactive Sankey diagrams for those who prefer a programming approach. The choice of software often depends on the complexity of the diagram, the level of customization needed, and the user's familiarity with the tool. The watermark on the diagram you provided suggests it was made with SankeyMATIC, which is one of the more user-friendly options available.

To date, however, heavy elements have been observed in all astrophysical environments. We report the detection of two gas clouds with no discernible elements heavier than hydrogen. These systems exhibit the lowest heavy-element abundance in the early universe and thus are potential fuel for the most metal poor halo stars. The detection of deuterium in one system at the level predicted by primordial nucleosynthesis provides a direct confirmation of the standard cosmological model. The composition of these clouds further implies that the transport of heavy elements from galaxies to their surroundings is highly inhomogeneous. ______________________________________       Personal Conclusion   (THIS IS NOT MY WORK¡¡¡¡) This was the last piece of the equation that answered the Quantum Realm Answer etc…. The problem is the number has so much decimals that it is converted in the backend to 4.07...e-7. Then the number is so long that it gets cut by the box. CSS problem. There is nothing weird, reddit just need to make a little backend fix when numbers have x amount of characters when decimal and just cut it.

I don't know what was used in CCmoons case, but usually websites are built using JavaScript and one of its three main Frameworks - React, Angular or Vue. You could technically build it using pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript alone, with maybe some jQuery to make writing the behaviour easier, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Well if you build websites for the general public you already know getting motherfuckers to give you ANY content is like pulling teeth. So you take the tiny amount of factoids and such they give you, it may not be much. Let's use my moms candle company for an example. She gave me a few sentences explaining her business. >"Permian Basin Candle Company was simply created to sell my quality hand poured candles. > >I am creating my favorite scented candles. Theses hand crafted candles are in a simple 16 oz. jar and they throw a beautiful, aromatic scent which you can smell from a decent distance as far as candles go. They are also hand crafted with love by me personally! You can always contact me if you have a special occasion or just desire to have personalized candles. It is entirely possible for me to customize jars, scents, and colors just for you and your brand or fundraiser! Thanks for stopping by, and trying my handcrafted candles." Believe it or not, she did pretty good, Try getting a guy to explain his Polypipe Extrusion and Spooling company for the West Texas Oilfield...you get about six words from the guy. Regardless, I take the above and paste it into CHATGPT...I also mention what town we live in, the region and that she can also be found at the local farmers market EVERY Saturday morning. I also toss in some cool facts about her. For my final sentence, I ask CHatGPT to rewrite her "About Us" page optimized for SEO in our region. the results: >Welcome to Permian Basin Candle Company, your premier source for high-quality hand poured candles in western Texas! As a retired teacher, I followed my own advice to "do what you love for a living" and created my favorite scented candles for you to enjoy. Our candles come in a simple yet elegant 16 oz. jar, and are crafted with love and care by me personally. We use only the finest ingredients to ensure that our candles not only smell amazing, but also burn cleanly and evenly for hours of enjoyment. And the best part? We pour any scent on demand, even if you want a Christmas candle in July! Our signature scents are inspired by the rugged beauty of the Permian Basin region, with notes of sagebrush, mesquite, and other local flora and fauna. They'll transport you to the heart of western Texas, no matter where you are. You can find us most Saturday mornings at the Midland Downtown Farmers Market on the beautiful lawn of the Museum of the Southwest located at 1705 W. Missouri - Midland, TX. Stop by and say hello, and check out our latest scents and products. If you have a special occasion or just want personalized candles for your brand or fundraiser, we're happy to customize the jars, scents, and colors to your specifications. Just contact us to discuss your needs and we'll make it happen. Thank you for visiting Permian Basin Candle Company and trying our handcrafted candles. We're confident that once you've experienced the warmth and beauty of our candles, you'll be a customer for life! Cool...but I also need some Taglines..Hey ChatGPT can you give me some ULTRA Texan taglines for the site? >Certainly! Here are a few tagline options based on the revised text: "Experience the rugged beauty of western Texas in every candle." "Crafted with care, inspired by the land." "Bringing the warmth of western Texas to your home." "Hand poured with love, customized just for you." "Scented candles as unique as the Permian Basin." "From our home to yours, with love and fragrance." GREAT! But can you also write something for the storefront page??? >At Permian Basin Candle Company, we take pride in hand pouring each candle with love and care. We use only the finest quality ingredients to ensure that our candles not only smell amazing, but are also free of harmful chemicals. All of our candles are phthalate-free, so you can breathe easy while enjoying your favorite fragrance. We pour any scent on demand, so you can enjoy your favorite scent any time of the year, even if it's a Christmas candle in July! We offer free delivery to the Midland area, and we also ship anywhere. We're constantly adding new scents to our collection, so keep an eye out for our upcoming spring line, featuring fresh and vibrant scents inspired by the season. OH yea I need the fundraising page too. Mention we custome etch our jars in house and can do custom branding >Sure thing! You need to split the problem into its components. Firstly it's a website. Which is split into front end and back end. Front end is what you see. So you'll need UI/UX designer to consider the trading interface unless you simply 'copy' what everyone else does. Then you need a front end dev, to code the CSS/HTML and javascript. The backend is the essentially an 'app' that spits out data, usually using React. This data is what the front end dev uses to display what you see. When you look at web page of a trading platform there's a continuous stream of data being feed to it - price, which is being updated continuously on the screen. Then there's the users clicks that get routed back to the 'back end', to do the stuff, similar to an app being clicked. Right - so the backend, the 'app' as it were is going to need splitting up into it's component problems and being solved. Some solutions can be bought off the shelf as it were. So account and account security - automatically emailing clients etc, all this stuff can be bought and more or less plugged in. The actual 'exchange' component will likely need to be custom coded. You'll need to consider your 'spread' to cover AWS etc cloud/server costs. Then there's the crypto wallet issue - which coins you exchange and how you security hold those. As well as Fiat. Then there's the marketing - because you will need more than 1 user. You need a looooot of users for this to breakeven and actually work, so you need a big marketing budget. Transparency and trust will be key to gaining market share. Good luck.

The software isn’t “dodgy”, it’s a custom version of Firefox. You could also use Brave which is based on Chromium. The darkweb is usually way safer because the browser has JavaScript, and a bunch of other settings, disabled by default and most hidden sites are built with pure HTML and CSS rather than actually executing code on your machine. The TOR project itself was originally developed by DARPA to aid spy and dissident communication over seas.

Well, besides the usual DeFi and NFT dApps (Tezos has one of the biggest NFT markets measured in transaction volume), there are some very promising real-life use-cases running on Tezos Mainnet. There is Voting application Electis, which is used in a French city and by several other organisations (like some UN chapters), there is Ecoo, which is used in a few cities in Swiss for distributing COVID relief funds and recently Swiss Insurance Group CSS announced to launch their loyalty token on Tezos via Ecoo. Search the website that published the DMV article for Ecoo and Electis and you'll find more info. Then there is gaming on Tezos. Games like Dogami and Emergents are about to launch. And Horse Betting Giant PMU will launch a game called Stables. Then there is Tezos' tech. Tezos evolves super fast. tps went from ~13 to 1,000 in 4 years and is about to go to over 1,000,000 this year. Private transactions are added as an option, finality, etc. Dyor ;

LOL u are clueless about tech. Every coin besodes BTC has a group of central planners behind it. ETH for example made unilateral changes to its monetary policy just a couple months ago! Only BTC is a “neutral” asset that cannot be manipulated by any central party. Its monetary policy is set in stone. The only other tech project that is as open and collaborative as BTC is is w3c working group (who creates browser standards, javascript, CSS, and the internet). BNB is totally different… high risk speculative investment that has pumped my bags

tldr; Making Metaverse NFTs a Little More Trustworthy Critics of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) have some good points. The “Degraded Blockchain Problem” by Lars Doucet (2021) He points out that anytime we have to use an off-chain solution for interacting with “decentralized” digital assets, we’re risking not just the “ideals” of decentralization, but the stone-cold safeties we were promised about trust and immutability. A Social Commentary on Centralizing Power So I thought about these issues that Marlinspike, Doucet, and White have been talking about: a lot of them require serious technical and moral investment by the larger community (especially if we try to solve some of them by making a decentralized cache of NFT metadata — which I’d love to work on!). However, I think there’s one, really low-hanging fruit we could implement right now. Whenever you need to load an external resource on a webpage, like the Bootstrap CSS framework, you (the webpage designer) include some code in your HTML to tell the browser what hashing algorithm to run on it once it fetches it, and then what “digest” (a fixed snippet of data) to compare the results with to make sure some evildoer hasn’t replaced the expected known-good file for a hacked piece of garbage that’s trying to steal your Coinbase login cookie. After all, isn’t crypto all about proving things?

How to assign custom flair via InstaMod Hey there /r/CryptoCurrency! I'm the developer of the bot /u/InstaMod which is responsible for the automatic flair on this subreddit. You can read more about how InstaMod works on this subreddit [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/d7wqmq/update_to_the_user_flair_system/), but today I'm here to talk about assigning custom flair. If you are in the top 10% of contributors on this subreddit, then you have the ability to overwrite your automatic flair assign a custom one. Users who achieve this status are notified via a PM from /u/InstaMod with instructions on how to go about applying that flair. **However, recently there was a bug which resulted in users not being able to assign flair**, so I'd like to give everyone a refresher on how to correctly go about this process now that it's been resolved. [This link](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=InstaMod&subject=!cryptocurrency%20!flair&message=Flair%20Text:%0AFlair%20CSS:) is a pre-formatted PM message which will allow you to assign custom flair. Simply fill out the flair and CSS sections (or leave them blank) and the bot will promptly respond with a confirmation that your flair was updated. If you do not have the permissions to apply custom flair then the bot will reply informing you of that. Here is a list of the current CSS options available: > Bitcoin, BitcoinShares, Bitcoin Cash fan, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, Dash, NEM, ETC, Ripple, Factom, NEO, OMG, ARK, SIA, Peercoin, Nxt, Namecoin, Waves, Iota, ZCASH, Altcoiner, Developer, Miner, Trader, Investor, Observer, Student, Entrepreneur, Analyst, Moon, Gentleman, Fan If you have any questions, suggestions, or issues feel free to let me know in the comments. Hate to say it but you are MASSIVELY underestimating the huge amount of work, experience, knowledge and finances that this project would need to be successful. I've been a full stack developer (mostly focused on backend/databases, but have worked in UI too) for over a decade with some big companies. To launch something like this and be successful is going to require a tonne of research and planning, nailing your specifications, very high quality database design with transactions etc, redundancy across multiple servers, decent REST API, really top-notch user interface (that's the hardest bit). In short you'll need a team of experienced developers, willing to put in hundreds of hours of work for no guarantees of rewards. If you were serious you'd have to spin this up as a start up company, and at least give ownership to people who were working on the project if you couldn't pay them. The technology has to be spot on. I'm sorry but in 2022 using raw HTML/CSS/Javascript is not going to cut it (presumably paired with PHP running on an Apache server). UI and experience is king - React.js, or at a minimum at least a framework like Bootstrap+jQuery. The server as well - you'll need something that can scale, Apache isn't going to cut it. Node, or a custom written REST API server in Go (using gin-gonic for example) is the way forward. Your database design has to be extremely efficient too, with proper indexing, transactions etc. And then you'll need financing to stand it up. MILLIONS (more like tens of millions). These new platforms need a TONNE of investment and relentless advertising. You don't break even on this stuff until you've built a pretty huge user-base. Finally, really hate to say it, but the URL is an instant killer for this project too. Look at all the successful companies / sites. It's too long, it's too wordy, it's not memorable enough. Think about the hugely popular e-commerce platforms (love them or hate them). [eBay.com](https://eBay.com), [amazon.com](https://amazon.com), etc. Not writing this to be mean. But the scale of the task is huge. If I was tasked with this in my organisation we'd be looking at a 10-15 person team minimum (4-5 front-end, 4-5 back-end and a few people to test/manage/coordinate/integrate etc).

I only watched 3 minutes (26-29:00) but the speaker immediately gave the exact example I had in my head before clicking the link: web standards (HTTP, CSS). I'm not a dev but I would love to see more discussions about how the crypto industry might think about smart contract development going forward. I understand that all of these things are true at once: - The vast majority of Smart Contract developers know Solidity. It offers a huge advantage to any new project that allows copy/paste functionality of existing Ethereum smart contracts to their own eco systems. - Smart Contract developers represent a tiny portion of developers overall; designing platforms with more popular language compatibility offers a pool of developers an order of magnitude larger to draw from. - Enforcing more restrictive programing paradigms can offer much better security and auditability of correctness for the type of applications that smart contracts are actually deployed to do. It's really interesting how these somewhat contradictory layers of network effects and path dependencies play out in the short and longer term. I don't have the expertise to critique to what degree or when a project should develop their own solution in-house vs complying to existing "industry standards", but I can't see how anyone would interpret either choice as a indictment.

Two major networks that make up a very large portion of the aggregated internet news cycle in both presentation and content generation. I agree, they have already lost. I readily consider both 'web3' enabled sites and that's pretty much that. I also remember the insane, and irate hate behind 'web2' when that was coming about. It felt very similar, with people going on long diatribes about how AJAX and CSS were going to completely destroy the internet with rounded corners, tag clouds, and social network integration.

If you are interested in becoming a blockchain developer, this article outlines a good roadmap: https://betterprogramming.pub/how-to-become-a-blockchain-engineer-fa4386a0504f Web3 is very similar to web2 on the front end, so first, HTML, CSS, Javascript. Then moralis course for a "shortcut". Moralis is similar to firebase of web2. It makes a lot of tasks in Web3 very simple. Like, you can set up authentication with a single line of code. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY4WYoZPr-U](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY4WYoZPr-U) Then I'll follow the learnweb3 program for more info about the backend on blockchains. I'd like to keep my anonymity here. Right now, I'm learning about polkadot on "learn to earn" platform stackup. But that's a bit more niche. ETH is where %80 of the jobs are. I'm also learning python, as it too is a very capable language, used in web3 as well, and is better designed than JavaScript. There is a ton to learn, and it will take time. Web 2.0 is associated with dynamic HTML, CSS, and reactive/responsive web design. Basically, the webpage is no longer static, and the end user can interact with the website. Some people also consider social media sites to be Web 2.0, but that's a lesser-used definition. There's no set definition for Web3 yet. The most popular definition is that the end user owns his own data, and that information will be decentralized. It's not that important compared to Web 2.0.

It’s called a Pixel because it typically uses a 1x1 pixel graphic, which get’s hidden on the frontend through use of CSS so it’s invisible to the user, but gets triggered when the page gets loaded so long as the user doesn’t have javascript blocking or images disabled on their browser.

2 things are constant in technological progress: automation and decentralization. Automation is easy to understand for most. You can think of it as cutting out the middle in a business transaction using some form of digital asset. Since digital assets can be infinitely reproduced for free you can effectively remove the middle man and make a business transaction cheaper and possibly more efficient. Decentralization is a bit more discrete. It's the idea of creating open standards and protocols in software that any programmer could utilize or add to for free. Think HTTP, SMS, MMS, RCS, USB etc. Web languages HTML, CSS, JavaScript (which is technically ECMA script standard) are all "open sourced" standards that the communtiy gets together and decides where to take these languages. An example of decentralization would be Apple dropping the lightning port and moving to USB C. USB is an open standard that anyone could build and you don't have to pay anybody if you did. So a bunch of businesses can profit from it. Lightning port, on the other hand, is a proprietary piece of hardware built by Apple. It's centralized by them and therefore they stand to make shit tons of money by making thier customers use it. But Apples shift to USB C shows us that open standards will always win in the long run. No matter how much money they are making decentralized standards end up taking over. Centralization in a way emulates today what decentralization can accomplish in 10 years or whatever. But no central authority can build monetization system around a completely decentralized asset, therefore bringing costs down once again. AOL centralizing the internet in the 90s would be another example. They gave us an idea of what the internet could be by connecting to their intranet and eventually trashed the concept because the decentralized internet was just better. Bitcoin is a blockchain implementation. Blockchain is an algorithm for creating a data structure called a distributed ledger. A distributed ledger is essentially a decentralized database. If we can one day design a fast and efficient decentralized database over the internet we can stop storing our user generated data on centralized data centers (AWS, google, facebook). If we own our data online then we cut out the middle man. We are far from it but "web3" is about taking the power from centralized services and giving that power to the people. It's kind of hippie idealist shit. I am not a finance guy. I couldn't tell you if the price of bitcoin is going up or down. But I am a technologist and I can tell you that blockchain protocols allows us new innovative ways to automate and is an active way to decentralize data over a network. But you never know, someone might come up with a better method of decentralization tomorrow and crash all blockchain assets. This is just the best we have right now
