I'd break the ice but I sold everything for USDC and transfered to cold storage when BTC/ETH topped out in April. I did however lose about in March: -$4k on MBL and Luna - I lost cause I FOMO'd in at the top of the little run everything had in early March - I looked up "crypto forecasts" (WSB level I know) and picked the ones that were most common to go up in the next week - I realized looking up crypto forecasts and picking the coins that are on the most of them wasn't DD so I went all in back into BTC/ETH I also lost more than I even want to calculate by trading on the CDC app. I learned to leave the alts alone and never trade on CDC.

I asked because when I checked the app, MBL had gone up almost 130% for me. I didn't have much on it since it's an alt coin but it caught me by surprise having checked it at the right time. My initial investment was about $45 and it went up to around $105, which meant around $60 profit. I have a feeling it will drop soon, like they usually do, so I took out my original $45. Granted it's almost 5AM here so my brain isn't working too well, but it makes me wonder which sum of money I should have taken out. Get what I mean? Right now, all I have on the market for MBL are my profits and whether it goes up or down, I'm safe because I took my original investment out. However, what would have happened if I had taken the $60 I made instead of the $45? Would it just mean that, if MBL was to rise, it would gain value slower? Stuff like this is what I can't wrap my brain around. xD

Same. Bought some MBL, then it dropped, I hodl, it pumped so I sold and made $300. I happy about that don’t get me wrong, but ,If I would have wait a few more weeks, I would have made 5k+. In the end good with profit either way.

Seems I haven't learned a damn thing. Bought LTO around \~$0.70. Watched LTO go to $1.20 AUD, now it's at $0.93 and falling quite steeply. I only checked it earlier this afternoon and it was like $0.99, so it's really getting iced hard this time. But I decided not to sell it. Why? Bought MBL at $0.036. Watched it go to $0.057 in the same day...yes, the same fucking day...then watched as it fell. It's kept falling, hasn't fucking stopped. There's another crypto called MovieBloc (MBL) that I bought ~$300 worth of. It's actually done pretty well considering it was less than 20 cents AUD not too long ago. Now around 25 cents AUD.

So I had the same issue over the weekend. Luckily my friend is a professional trader and I was boasting how 3 of my coins (MBL, BTT and DREP) Were 150% up blah blah blah. So on paper its profit, no one can deny that, but your profit is only realized once you take it. I sold all 3, 75% each and bought other coins that were down at the time. Portfolio now is much higher as opposed to if I did nothing cuz the 3 coins that were high came back down due to corrections. I only made money cuz I scalped it. Whatever anyone says you need to take profits at regular intervals, thumb rule and not be greedy. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, other might be doing better.

Of course bud. I wish I could’ve came up with an explanation on the spot but I kinda froze up. The best I had was I stumbled upon it and thought it an interesting concept. So I turned some of my KAVA gains into MBL. The rest of my portfolio besides ATOM is mostly thanks to yourself.
MBL is Moviebloc. I describe it as a censor free cannes film festival of sorts. It allows independent film artists to put their work out there. It seems mostly geared for the eastern crowd at this point, I can see it having use case for western video people too.
