I was in BRRR - During the first ramp up of BC toward ATH, back in mid-November when it was flirting but “only” got to 99k+, it was happening over the weekend. As I monitored the situation, and was considering cashing out, I noticed that BRRR wasn’t responding to the movement. Not normal for it. Now, it could be that if you were to execute a straight sell, perhaps it would have reflected the general area (given the spread) of the actual price at that time, but the “real time” reporting accuracy was nonexistent, as it related to BC. It lagged. I blame it being in the classic exchange. Or perhaps, being thru Robinhood. Or both. I would possibly go back to BRRR for a long term strategy. But entry and exit points sometimes present themselves on the weekends. And if you’re trying to target a specific number, using the app at least, there is a lag in the off hours.

Congratulations on your first liquid $1M! This is a huge feat that many will only dream to accomplish. Having said that, do not forget, liquid dollars is devalued every second, and loses its buying power. Money printer has to go BRRR to pay off interest for treasury bonds and the over bloated expenses the government has. If your journey into crypto is finished, I would highly suggest you to reach out to a financial advisor, somewhere like Fidelity, and have them put that money (even half of it) to work. Mr. Bob spent $1M to build a restaurant. The money the restaurant generates is what Mr. Bob lives off of. It would not be wise for Mr. Bob to sell his cooking equipment and spend that money. Similarly, you now have a $1M asset. Do not spend that $1M. Spend what it can generate. Grow your assets, and in turn, grow what it can produce. Early retirement should be around the corner.

This kind of scenario has been forecasted countless times by users that are not orange-pilled and that understand how vested interests works. Nobody gives up control unless it's forced to do so. Why would govt. around the world would give up capital control? That's why maxi doomers and politically naive users in this subreddit are making a disservice to BTC. Hoping that the whole fiat ecosystem would collapse so that BTC price would skyrocket would create exactly this kind of scenario. Short sighted greed is not good in the long run. All we can hope is for BTC to keep growing, to get a somewhat fair -if not favourable- tax and regulatory treatment from politicians, to displace gold as a store of value (certainly BTC can do a better job than a stupid legacy rock) and be available for whoever wants to protect hard earned labour from the slow neverending corrosion of govts addicted to the printing (BRRR) machine.

You just made me realize that this is the bitcoin shirt I want the most. I have been searching for one but very picky as I know it will influence my social interactions like most any shirt could depending upon its level of abstraction or ambiguity to political or controversial topics. As a bit of background I have a shirt that says "the Earth is flat." With a funny image of a flat earth below.. As a community college student I wore that shirt the day I brought my telescope to the college campus to observe a solar eclipse. Of course I had the proper filter securely attached to my large telescope, 8 inch newtonian on a dobson base and several sets of solar glasses to share with passers by. I do not believe that the earth is flat but I am a smart ass. Anyone who questioned me about my shirt I was happy to discuss my true beliefs about the oblate spheroids dancing to Keplers music. So from any Bitcoin doubters I should get the awkward nod of approval and to anyone who wants to converse about it I will be happy to bring up, printer go BRRR!!! So, where can I get this shirt or other interesting bitcoin shirts?

If you have a couple 4-plex or something good on ya, many owners/landlords are just fine and dandy. There are quite a few aspiring BRRR style landlords that are giving yall a bad name. Say you have 7-8 single family homes, and are aiming for 20 more as rentals. In that case I would not be impressed or proud of you. You would be transforming into a parasite at the point. My hope is that regulations will come into play that make it simply unprofitable for people to hoard homes, making more available for families. Landlords can stick with apartments.

First of all, just because they are old, does not mean they aren't out of touch. Just top of my head: 1) If bitcoin is a currency--it is too volatile to use. I can't pay my workers one day and they can use it to buy a lambo, then another day can't afford to buy a Banana. 2) Mass adoption appear to also slow down the system and incur high fees. A wire from a Bank cost $10-20 internationally. Bitcoin apparently can range from cents to 100+ 3) Bitcoin is the new king when the dollar collapses: Well lets be honest, if dollars completely collapse, that means end of social order and possible world war. What is bitcoin going to do then? Nothing. 4) Bitcoin is a high performing asset: but yet every day I read about people are "HODL" their bitcoin and not actually using it. Any asset's true value need to be liquid, if no one is buying or trading it--it is value is really in doubt. 5) Safety/security etc: Bitcoin can be send to the void and be lost forever, or if stolen, no system available to reverse it/save it. And bitcoin isn't truly anonymous either, seeing the US Government was able to seize so much of it. 6) Energy consumption: Right now, even by conservatives estimates bitcoin eco-system takes up to HALF of the global banking system's energy use. Imagine wtf will happen if mass adoption happens. 7) Fed Printer go BRRR...lets be honest, bitcoin value rises only when Fed Printer go Brrrr. So it isn't a hedge against the Fed either. Not to mention with Tether, Bitcoin value is also base on printer go BRRRR.

Cheap money is what inflates Bitcoin, recession just kills sentiment of us common folks, rich people eat this up and use it against us (just my opinion, not financial advice.
