Wait a second…you don’t really think you need to be on the governing council to use the network, do you? lol! So basically you have no idea what you’re talking about and are just repeating things you think you heard other people say. Do better. I know much more about Ethereum than you do about Hedera, yet look at how sure of yourself you are. Hedera is a public network which anyone can use. The governing council are validators of the network. IBM is deeply building on Hedera by the way; check the Hedera November GC meeting minutes (!) and you will see IBM presented a comprehensive identity solution called DICE, built on Hedera, targeted to governments and enterprises. So yeah. Do more research. Zoom out. And keep in mind that BlackRock hasn’t even done anything on Ethereum except put some money there. It takes years and years for enterprise use cases to go live. You are missing the trend. Hundreds of enterprises are building on Hedera. What do you think will happen when they go live. atma.io was just early - the flood is coming.

This is the way of the true bitcoiner… also, you can save the website IAN COLMAN BIP39 tools and on a STRIPED DOWN (no SSD/HD/WIFI/NETWORK etc computer), use DICE (like even 10 dice at a time etc) and throw them 10 dice x10 times to give you 100 dice roles… Imput the data on the offline/striped down computer will give you your own bitcoin keys. Not for computer illiterate people, I consider this at least intermediate level… the “average” person should stick to a good quality signing device like a COLD CARD etc.

Generate a secure 24 word seed, for example using Ian Coleman's BIP39 tool OFFLINE and BY USING A DICE. Don't forget to erase the cache afterwards or still better use a one time OS like tailsOS as secure isolated environment to run Ian Coleman's site offline. Then scroll down on Coleman's site to find various corresponding secure private keys, also as qr code, that you can generate secure paperwallets from. But make sure to also provide an explanation on how to also SECURELY SPEND these paperwallets since that is one of the most occurring flaws and hiccups that can happen while trying to spend funds from them. It's not by coincidence that [paperwallets are actually not recommended to be used anymore](https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Paper_wallet).

And what are the surcharges like for DICE or SKIDDLE? Crypto is merely a more efficient baselayer for things that already exist; saying I would rather have a physical ticket in hand is the same as saying I would rather have physical cash than bitcoin. Not sure why you're trying to characterize a person having a reasonable conversation as "screeching" either, really not productive.

Mentions:#DICE
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Literally every digital ticket I have purchased has this option. DICE and SKIDDLE being non-ticketmaster options. Besides just screeching the words "Ticketmaster" at me isn't a good argument. The problem with Ticketmaster is the organisation itself not that they don't sell NFTs. > You're telling me you would rather meet a stranger yo[sic] exchange cash for a ticket rather than just list it on an NFT market place. Yes and that is my personal choice. Screeching "Ticketmaster" or "stranger danger!" is not going to convince me that an NFT is better than a physical ticket in my hand.

I'll give you a really good example that isn't well known. Etheroll (DICE). It was one of the earliest dAPPS on the Ethereum blockchain, predates cryptokitties. The concept was simple. You had a 100 sided die, you picked a number betweeen 2 and 99 and then picked over or under and then it would pay out depending on the result. So if you picked Over 50, 51-99 would net you a win. House had a 1% edge. Any winnings the casino made would be paid out to the holders of the DICE token as dividends. If you held 10% of the DICE tokens, you got 10% of the profits. Why it failed? Centralized casinos are just better and have better games. A lot of centralized casinos now accept crypto. Decentralized gambling can take off but you need a very liquid market to succeed.

Mentions:#DICE
r/CryptoCurrencySee Comment

Reminder that Etheroll is shutting down after a pretty long run and will distribute around 20k ETH to token holders, 0.0032 ETH per DICE token. It's being traded in super low volume, but if you can grab some of the cheaper ones, there is a kind of arbitrage opportunity for scrappy people, plus an estimated 20% of the overall amount that gets redistributed because people fail to collect/can't access their wallet or something. People are likely willing to cash out at a cheaper rate too if the liquidity is too low, so asking in the sub is probably the way to go if anyone wants to go for a trade.

Maybe not favorite it's a love hate but my largest position. I have most of my money in LIVE and DICE subtokens. Daily payouts from the casino are nice :)

OG dapp Etheroll is closing down by Feb 2022. It still has ~20,000 ETH to distribute to DICE holders which will happen in Nov 2021 and Feb 2022. Such a shame but a great journey. Each quarter for the last 5 years there has been a Wealth Week where if the house was in profit, DICE holders could claim their share of those profits. https://etheroll.wordpress.com/2021/08/30/etheroll-is-closing-down/

After giving a larger chunk of my youth to DICE and it’s Battlefield franchise, they rewarded me by changing the stats and fire cone of the pump action shotgun in BF2. My entire playstyle and tactical approach to firefights, became irrelevant overnight. Never played another BF title after that, actually I think that’s when playing FPSs ended for me. LIVE and DICE are just like WIN. They just drop way more TRX. buy with tronlink: [https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home](https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home) Freeze/stake: [https://wink.org/windrops](https://wink.org/windrops) Then everyday you get sense some of the house earnings just like WIN

r/CryptoMarketsSee Comment

Dimond hands and freeze it. You get TRX every day. I used to hate Tron bc Justin Sun is kinda \*not great\* but this is actually the best dApp on the network. Not a pump and dump check it out. If you have a tronlink wallet (browser) - use this to buy LIVE, DICE, BNKR with TRX: [https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home](https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home) or this [https://trontrade.io/exchange/](https://trontrade.io/exchange/) "freeze" your WIN, DICE, LIVE in your tronlink to stake it on [r/WINk\_org](https://www.reddit.com/r/WINk_org/) and it will pay you out in TRX daily. Basically yes. You get a piece of the house, airdropped to you everyday. If you have a tronlink wallet (browser) - use this to buy LIVE, DICE, BNKR with TRX: [https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home](https://justswap.org/?lang=en-US#/home) Also if you keep and "freeze" your WIN, DICE, LIVE in your tronlink to stake it on [r/WINk\_org](https://www.reddit.com/r/WINk_org/) they will pay you out with a TRX airdrop daily. [https://wink.org/windrops](https://wink.org/windrops) It's the best dAPP on the TRON Network by far IMO
