Reminds me of all the shills last bull run. LRC was the biggest one I remember.
LRC is not coming around anymore . D wang will create a new token after taiko
so true, been burnt hard on it. FUCK LRC
Your first mistake was buying LRC.
Sold a pile of my LRC at about 3.05 last cycle, sure do wish I'd sold it all.
This is the worst "bull run" ever. Two weeks ago, I bought LRC at $0.39. It's at $0.32 now.

LRC will never make it . Cut loss .
Well, i enter during the same bullrun as you, When doge went bonkers during the leadup to SNL. CRO basically buying stadium naming rights. the GME X LRC thingy, when ONE IS 1. ROSES are red. Sold some making some profits. Anyway, i did dca during their bottom. Swap them over to BTC and ETH. Currently im in the green right now. So unless we go back to 30k BTC range, im still damn comfortable.
LRC is coming. Its a late bloomer. For now, L2 is not very appreciated but I think this will change with time.
That was LRC my friend
it's funny that we can't really tell whether ATOM, ADA and all those other altcoins that were hot last bullrun and haven't really gone up a lot yet are yet to have their run or if abstract use case ideas and L2 don't matter this altseason. for what it's worth, i expect AI coins to continue to ouperform last altseason's darlings, and i don't expect much from my bags of ALGO, LRC, QNT and HBAR CKB has performed nicely though and i'm up 3X with LINK, too
I remember reading through the similar posts last time around and ending up with bags of LUNA, ONE, LRC, SOL, ATOM, MATIC. All seemed lile reasonably good projects, They all made sense untill they weren't. I am back in green on SOL just recently, after 3 years. All the rest are red.
Isn't that Taiko's role, with LRC layer 3.
Yes! And remember the LRC hype days? Holy shit there were like 20 new comments every second. Ah, I miss those daily
I pull out some at double investment, at 3x all my initial is out. Maybe I leave money on the table, but it beats an empty table all day long. Not waiting for 5x, 10x saved me multiple times. Cough cough LRC cough cough
I missed gains by being locked in for the card on CRO and not getting out of LRC early. I’d made some good gains in day trading LRC (which was easy as it shot up). But my inexperience and greed watched a total of about 5.5k invested drop to around 1.1k. That hurt! This time nothing is locked in and I’m taking small but steady profits when my overall portfolio value reaches a certain number - the take out which position the most gain is in. Tracking my overall cost vs value makes this easier and helps reduce the strong fomo I get when I sell (greed). I’m not talking huge values and I wish I could turn the sums you mention - just don’t have the back for it so just doing what I can.
Wow LRC's chart is crazy lol First two is what I do as well. About USDC, I never did that except for funneling funds to buy dips but seems like a good advice. My end goal is to make my $7k 10x from here. Bitcoin is too late for me. But I get your point. Much appreciated btw, thanks!
I saw two year’s salary worth of unrealized gains vaporize by holding LRC too long last cycle. Now I trim some fat when the bags get massive gains, and add some coins when markets dip. Some things I’m doing differently this time around: - Always keep track of your cost basis and your average entry. - Have a realistic goal of price or market cap. No, not every coin is going to be the next Pepe. But maybe this alt can climb a few ranks. - USDC is always good position to have. Maintain 10-20% in cash that is readily available to deploy. This helps to afford those dips & is a reminder to take some profits and restock your USDC. - Remember your end goal. For me, that’s always BTC. Take profits, move it offline, refill your trading budget with traditional income, rinse and repeat.
LRC 12x, GBTC 5x, BTC 2.5x then the rest of alts around 2ish
LRC was absolutely huge on here not too long ago. i should keep a list of every "golden child" project this sub goes through. remember waltonchain? deepbrain? internet computer? ahhh good times. and each one came with their own "this time it's different" and "okay but this time it's ACTUALLY different" yet they all *somehow* ended up on the short bus. curious!
That is so true. Speaking of L2s, one of the funniest thing I've heard is with LRC (an L2 for Ethereum), when an LRC shill came in saying that BTC, ETH, ADA, etc.. were all obsolete coins that no will use, LRC is the future.
I dont know bro, i treated LRC like my ex. I know LRC exist but i just dont dig deeper into it anymore
Meanwhile my coin who network always perform still no price action.... Yes LRC im looking at you
I forgot how many times I made bad decisions until I read this post.... so many to choose from, LUNA, ICP, ZIL, QRDO, LRC.... This prolly doesn't count, but there was a cool, cutting edge NFT project called Meta Penguin Island- the most I ever "invested" in crypto, bought 3....devs disappeared right after minting🤦♀️ My most painful loss bc, I thought, how can you go wrong with penguins?!
Down 85% on ONE, 65% on ALGO, 62% on LRC :/
Definetely LRC and ADA
I wanna convert my LRC to another coin. Which one people?
I was getting downvoted like crazy by LRC bros when I used to comment on here…sad to see people get burnt by it.
It's so interesting reading through these comments when you were there around the last bull in 2021, in which so many of the coins mentioned here were fan favorites in this subreddit. XRP, LRC and ALGO were some of the top contenders.
LRC! ADA! And some Ukranian Real Estate company that disappeared!
LRC, from hundreds of thousands to tens of thousands.
LRC, but it's really my own fault. I stayed with them and kept doubling down on a sinking ship even though they had so many big sell signals like... GME partnering with IMX and refusing to mention LRC at all despite LRC being a partner. The CEO leaving to start a new company with one of LRC's major techs. The EX-CEO dumping shitloads of his LRC and tanking the price. LRC / GME partnership ending with the failure of the GME marketplace. I lost a lot of money on LRC and it taught me some valuable lessons, especially about taking profits and not marrying your bags. I was up almost 4x at one point with LRC, and rode it all the way down to -80% by doubling down with my DCA's. Just because something has a low marketcap compared to similar technologies, doesn't mean they will catch up to those marketcaps.
Not even in the top 5. ADA, ALGO, LRC, Nano, DOT all definitely beat it out by a mile.
BTC/ETH. Bland, but it's true. For alts, I'm in on ATOM (been holding it since the last bull run, as I left it staked too long and lost too much money on it to make it worth selling. I'm averaging down as time goes on), DOT, ADA, LRC, HBAR, CRO, and my moonshot is BOSON.
Wrong. Never buy LRC . You guys have been warned
TL/DR: buy Loopring LRC
The LRC token is an ERC-20 utility token for the Loopring protocol. It has several functions, including: - Rewarding participants in the network. - Providing voting rights for protocol updates. - Allowing token burning for economic policy. - Enabling lock-up periods for running decentralized exchanges (DEXs). - Offering staking options to reduce fees on the platform. So it is for internal use functions.
What's the point of LRC tokens then? Apart from lining the dev's pockets.
No one is asking or pushing you to use the token. You can buy LRC if you want to invest in the project but using L2 wallet does not require you to use LRC tokens. You can use ETH or any ERC20 token you wish on layer 2.
Yeah. I was confused about this. The whole hype for LRC was with the L2 stuff, so I converted all mine to L2 before depositing in the wallet. But even if I just download the wallet app, it doesn’t ask for anything other than iCloud backup or guardian—whether L1 or L2.
Sent LRC from CDC on the cronos network
Hmmm, i sent from CDC app to LRC wallet, could you explain the process in a little more detail? I’ll give it a go, a recovery would be great
I’ll share my experience. Downloaded the Loopring wallet to IPad as I was building up LRC and was interested in the tech. Everything on cold storage prior to that. Registered the wallet with phone number and email address and then transfered LRC to wallet.Happy days for a few months. Then, for some reason, my iPad reset during an update. Was met with the welcome screen and everything gone. Downloaded backup from iCloud, but Loopring wallet was not backed up. No idea why. Reinstalled Loopring wallet and hoped phone number/email would get me back in. Nope. That just gave me access to wallet address through the ‘recover from guardian’ feature, which is your own email/phone number. It then asked me to pay over £100 in ETH fees to access my wallet again. Contacted customer services for advice, who were pleasant but just directed me to the ‘recover from guardian’ feature. I’ll keep an open mind, but for me this is far from user friendly. I’ll stick with my cold storage for now.
Yeah I mean you might be right and I might regret it. Not really though, I pretty much lost track of my average cost over the last two years so I didn't have that sunk cost fallacy holding me back, I just could see that the money would do better elsewhere. I put it into OPSEC and tripled it within a couple of weeks. I'll only be sad if LRC eventually moons because I was really behind the project and was convinced it would do well, that's why I bought so much more during the bear. It's sad to give up on your dreams 😅😕
Yeah man LRC got to my entry point n I got greedy, I was thinking well may as well let I get to .55 or so n that way I get my money back plus the fee for selling.
I sold my LRC about a month ago. Sold ADA recently. Still hanging onto DOT but that might be a mistake. Bought smaller cap new tokens that are already making up the losses.
It had a little bump there and I was almost on track to breaking even and then it dropped below €9. I am more invested in seeing if LRC can bounce back. Hard to tell, but if none of these can recover in this climate, it's unlikely many people will ever make back what they put in a few years ago.
Hoping for a bit of consistency. While I am enjoying the green, waking up to my portfolio being 1k up and 1k down the next day is a bit mentally exhausting. Having avoided watching my portfolio for the majority of 2022 and 2023, it's been fun seeing the burst of life, but at the same time it feels like a double edged sword where the sheer volitiliy of crypto is seen every single day these last few months. However, I feel I'm a little less naive now. I've not been selling the dips, I do wish I could DCA a little bit more but trying not to put much more money in while it's like this. I just hope that I can see some green on LRC, Dot, ADA and ALGO sometime this year.
So is the Loop wallet very user friendly? I made some good moves with crypto but still super noob compared to others. For example, I do have 1.1 BTC. Is it as easy as downloading the LRC app, then moving it over to the wallet? Sorry don’t mean to sound stupid but all my crypto is in CB. I’m considering cold storage but would love to hear about this. Thanks!
All of them are in a cult especially LRC .
Sounds like everyone still has large bags of LRC. Also if you don't like where a project is going then definitely convert your bag of ETH into BTC.
I'm a fairly novice user and I still found it pretty confusing. Not that we're talking about orcs but I finally gave up on LRC about a month ago after averaging down for two years and put the money into something else. Creso wallet also looking to simplify things but at the moment just beta, I think
Why hasn't it caught on? I'm pretty new to alt coins, and am just learning about LRC. Sounds terrific, but are they building towards something? What concrete events or products are on the horizon for them?
Most people here hate LRC, a few months ago even mentioning it would get you ridiculed
I don't think ETH is going to be dethroned by a small cap chain like LRC. That would take multiple cycles, a ton of success by Loopring, and a ton of neglect by Ethereum.
yeah all the pieces are there and still LRC doesn't take off :(
This sub has to be the biggest LRC jerk off ever.
Too many people on Reddit hold it. So It will not go up like LRC.
I still see LRC doubling at the very least In a month or two, however if you believe in another coin I would do that
Thinking about just selling my LRC bag now and moving that into some AI coin. Old plan was to wait and sell it at the end of the cylce along with most other alts.
Dump them. Gamestop deal is off the table, isn't it? What can LRC do that others can't? What's on LRC that's unique?
Same here, eye opening moment. I'm not huge holer tho but I have some significant amount. Which coin should you swap LRC with then?
BTC, ETH, ADA, LRC and from meme coins Solama
Even Metis has more users, that's embarrassing for LRC.
Can someone who holds a big bag of LRC please reply to this comment? I want to know if you/we have faith that it’s going to hit its ATH again and/or discuss your exit plan. I’d post in the LRC sub but don’t want biased opinions. At this point I am very close to converting my LRC to moons
My current holdings are: 1inch, ADA, CRO, ETH, DOGE, HBAR, LRC, MATIC, XRP & I'm hoping for X2 - X10 my investment on all whenever the 'peak' is. Profit is profit. I'm sick of the term paper handing as that got overused during the GME chaos which I was also a part off. I've learned take profits when you feel best too as many for left bag holding on the GME shit on the backs of people saying HODL, No cell no sell etc. it was a persuasive movement and sadly many of us are left again, bag holding. Anyways, some of my choices aren't X10 material but hope theirs profit at least. I'll look into other stuff when money becomes smoother.
If I said anything other than Bitcoin, I could be accused of shilling a bag. Bitcoin is basically on the level of silver at this point, so if you have a long enough time horizon, you can't go wrong with bitcoin. Other projects I've invested in are ETH, LRC (Loopring), ADA, and SOL, and I've got some smaller bags of INJ, TIA, SEI, and SUI. Of all of these Loopring probably has the most room to grow because it's still down quite a bit from its ATH.
AVAX is hot still and only needs 3x to be ATH and ADA less than 5x. Those are easy targets in a 3 trillion dollar market cap. The only coin you mentioned that probably won't be as hot will be LRC and maybe DOT. But ATOM will be great since so many L1s are coming from it. Although I believe the bull market is a year ahead of schedule all these coins will pump once BTC settles and we could be there soon.
And solana is the exception, not the rule. Look at LRC, AVAX, ADA, DOT, LINK, ATOM, etc. many alts that melted face last run aren’t close to their ATH yet and we don’t know if they’ll make it.
JUP and SOL to the moon! Hopefully DOT, SUI and LRC to follow.
