Except Vechain is actually producing real world enterprise transactions. Can’t deny that most of their partnerships don’t amount to much but that is the state of blockchain adoption in general. DNV has tokenized hundreds of thousands of certificates on VeChain, Walmart China has produced over 100M supply chain transactions, and there are thousands of logged transactions per day of verified sustainable activity being recorded on VeChain through the new VeBetterDAO. VET is the only blockchain I see actually doing things in the REAL world. Tokenizing a MMF is not real world activity 😂. Like I said I can’t deny that literally the majority of their partnerships produce no transactions and Walmart China is one in a million. The reality of enterprise adoption is that it’s a long difficult and frequently unappealing road to forge and the VeChain community has plenty of skeptics and criticism pointing this out daily.
Biggest words of advice are to DCA. Buying into BTC and ETH now while the price is high is fine, just as long as in the future you DCA at a lower price. Even in saying that though, BTC and ETH are still yet to make their new ATH. If you want safe and good investments, you should always consider coins that have survived the bear markets which actually have use. Here's a list of a few: VET HBAR DOT ADA ALGO MATIC Yes these coins may not see the same gains as other newer coins on the market, but if you want to be safe, they'll be safer. Safe trading!
If you want an investment for a longer term investment (beside 40-50% of your wallet being BTC): VET AVAX DOT LINK MATIC ADA These may not pump like they did last season, just as an FYI. And there are so many more. I am currently considering getting into: PropC CFG OP Trade safe!
By that logic, I should continue to hold VET 😬
Good picks. LINK, ADA, XRP, VET, MATIC; crypto that did well last bull run have a high marketcap purely based on bagholders. If you have heavy holdings in anything like that then you were exit liquidity. Personally I’m bullish on AERO and a few low market cap gems that have already had multiple X’s and should see further gains. But some people are either married to their bags (XRP) or lack fundamental understanding of marketcaps (SHIB).
First of all I never invested into small projects before except VET. They are so small that they are probably in top3000 by market cap, but they are listed on exchanges already. Also they are active projects, and one of them generate real revenue. I don't want to advertise so I changed project name to X. This is description: X is your web3-based autonomous Assistant powered by the X token. Because X has access to the internet and the blockchain she can research and retrieve information about tokens, wallets, contracts and more. X has a real working memory, where she learns about you and your preferences, to work better for you. X can carry out actions on-chain for you, such as buying and selling tokens, scheduling orders, and buying into presales.
>What do you all think? I mean I’ve felt like setting myself on fire after holding a bag of VET that’s constantly in the red. I can see why he done it.
To be honest I’ve been thinking about doing the same after buying and holding a large bag of VET that’s still in red
Honestly out of all those relatively bad coins (price action wise) I'd expect DOT to do the best. That or VET. Disclosure--DOT is my biggest alt bag. NFA
I am consolidating my portfolio in preparation for the alt coin rally after halving. Should I get rid of DOT and XRP to buy more ADA, ALGO and VET?
I know nothing, but I am considering selling a potion of my VET or ADA or SOL or AIOZ, it’s a loss but I really am sick of holding them.
I would swap ADA to SOL or VET, keep 15% DOT just in case
Split SOL into ALGO and VET
I’m still holding VET.
VET surprisingly strong recently
95% ETH 5% VET, going to get more alts. Recommendations? MATIC, ARGO, DOT, ADA, LINK are frontrunners
VET keeps repeating their bull run playbook of either fake or nothing-burger partnership
I bought btc at .87¢ in college. Roommate was buying his weed with it. I forgot about it until I saw btc hit over 1k. Sold a bunch between 1-2k. Reinvested in XRP at .03¢. Sold up to 2$. Reinvested in VET. Sold up to .25¢. Retired early from govt work. Now I own 13 horses. Three homes. 3 businesses. 9 vehicles. And don’t have to work ever again. Just keep reinvesting and interest earning when it’s available.
**2018** Went -99% in 2018 from bag holding. Then kept DCA'ing BTC ETH and random shitcoins (XVG) during bear market. **Mistake one:** Not taking profits and just keep holding **Mistake two**: Buying XVG when ETH was at $80 and continuing until late 2019 (sold at a loss for ETH late 2020) **Mistake three**: Spending capital on unnecessary things. Dropped 20k on a condo escrow deposit a week before the March 2020 capitulation. **Mistake four:** Trying Axie Infinity (the game) in Oct 2020 and didn't buy the token cuz the game was ass. (AXS was 10 cents at the time, $140 peak in Nov 2021, you do the math) **2021** **Mistake one**: Not having sell targets for hodl bags, just wanted to wait until I held longer than one year for reduced tax rate. Missed out on selling 25x in ADA, 30x in VET in first half of 2021. 30x in ADA, 20x in EGLD during second half of 2021 (tho I did sell a bit because of previous experience, but not enough). **Mistake two**: Held on to stables/USD during BTC mid-summer dump and did not buy. **Mistake three:** Kept flipping gaming coins in Nov 2021 without a stop loss. Made basically a year of my salary in a week and give it all back to the market in early 2022. **Mistake four:** Took a personal loan to continue flipping gaming tokens into begging of 2022 (I still have 4 years of payments on it) **Mistake five:** Assumed we would have a finale grand finale alt-season like in 2018. Did not sell until was forced to sell (at a loss) for 2021 taxes. Also sold a bit for living expenses. At the very bottom was down -85% from 2021 ATH. **Mistake six**: Not buying BTC and ETH during Luna and FTX collapse. (Am unemployed so need to protect capital, even though I knew it was the bottom) I probably have some more mistakes, but these are the big ones. According to OG youtubers, it takes on average 3 cycles or 7 years to hit 7 figures in crypto, but given all my mistakes, not sure if I'm going to hit that. If I do great, if I don't its whatevers lol The most important thing I've learned all this time being in crypto, portfolio size really doesn't make a difference in my life. My quality of life right now is significantly better than 2021 when my portfolio was multiples of what it currently is. And I don't need much to sustain my currently unemployed NEET ass. I dont want to own a house, I dont want a gf/family, I dont want status. I just want to quietly live my life, playing games, watching anime, and checking outs whats good on youtube/reddit/twitter. So with that in mind, had I cashed out the way I wanted to in 2021, and ended up buying a house in TX, my life would be significantly worse than it is now. So I thank god that I made those mistakes, learned the lessons, and am now a happy NEET living in my moms basement.
I bought the peak of 2017, as in jan 2018 lol so went 80% down for two years so have only had one actual bull. I held after 2017, did dca but not enough but made big gains with VET at around 15x. Ive been going all in during bear market this time and significantly up as we move towards halving. If a 10/20x happens this time I can buy a house with plenty to spare. If not, well I’ll still be either green or even
Surprisingly, VET did very well
I also bought VET in 2017 and you are absolutely right. They change their identity every few years, and "RWA" was never part of it at all. I sold the rest of my VET last year
Look at VET, it barely moved yesterday
Correct. So yes, I held VET long before CCK disappeared. I also didn’t like an insider being a shill. No offense to Vechain. I’m not knocking Vechain, I do think it’s a solid project. I just look at it more like supply chain tracking. Which I guess to some people mean RWA. I feel like they’re riding RWA coat tail, because it’s a narrative at the moment.
I don't think anyone cares. VET has had it's name in the octagon for a long time now, and yet, nobody cares. This is VeChain foundation splurging on some extra advertisement while Dana White laughs rolling in the cash they're paying for it.
I doubt this extremely hard. Dana White has had chances to improve the gloves many times, but now VET apparently wants to add blockchain and he's all for it? Please. Get out of here with this crap.
VET because we need all hands to break the goddamn 0.05 barrier
Why is that? I almost got rid of my VET, but reading this I should hold on to it?
With VET? Lmao, Probably a Fiat at a best case scenario, worst case would be a single plane ticket
I’m happy to be holding a bag of 70,000 VET
Glad to see VET survived yesterday's rollercoaster ride, and now appears to be riding the (green) tide. TradingView says 52 weeks high of 0.055\~. Hope that gets beaten soon.
VET jumping into RWA and they have worked for the past five years on compliance. They’re primed
Are VET and LTO back on the menu? They’re showing surprising strength right now but still way down from ATH
Yep. Im just about to break even with VET after holding it for 2 yrs +- so i'm thinking if it's worth waiting for his shill to happen.
Interesting tale about the insider VET whale. Wonder if that's just shilling or one should errr take his word or hope for?
I can think of a few like this… VGX and VET. Years ago I made videos on each doing reviews. The VET community hated me when I called a 5-7x. They told me I didn’t know jack… blah blah blah.. I was off… blah blah. It did exactly that. I tried to get behind VGX and all the great things Voyager was doing at the time and each time I talked about it it was like a cult infiltrated the comments just to remind me that everything I said was wrong according to them. Obviously, we know how that turned out.
I will start off by saying, please don't give your money to anybody to invest for you. Secondly, a $2 profit on $70 just barely covers your trading fees, so it's not actually profit (only the exchange makes money in this case). You should learn trading basics (buy at support, sell at resistance, etc). EmperorBTC (on Twitter and Telegram) has easy-to-understand trading manuals that I used when I started learning. If you are looking to invest for retirement, then buy BTC. If you are looking to actually earn steady income to survive on, then you will have to look at a bit more volatile coins (NOT memes). Large caps like LINK, DOT, VET (as an example) and a few mid-caps, are a little more volatile than btc but wont dump as hard as micro-caps/memes. Good luck 😊
VET making me happy for a change
lol bro said VET in 2024, reddit really is behind huh
VET up 10% today, nice to see.
No and even BTC does a half a percent VET win plummet back to 4c. There's a legion of bag holders all the way up.
Something big ia happening in the whole market as VET is up 10%
Of course it will, VET with its tokenomics is easy long term gains.
NEO, VET and EOS taking off? What are we, back in 2017?
Big L for my VET homies
My ideal portfolio for this bull run: 90% BTC; 5%ADA, 3%ALGO and 2% VET. Everything else is noise.
I don't remember much about VET at all from 2021 except I made some amazing swing trades They were the one trying to do supply chain management right?
Funny you could say the very same thing about VET that are also desperately trying to pivot in a new direction.
I have bags in new an old alts mainly VET but I have been checking out the new stuff coming out that’s melting faces it’s a sound argument if you want to expose yourself to more risk/reward
I won’t tell you what to buy, but I will tell you what I bought. Do your own research. 1. VET 2. HBAR 3. MATIC 4. XLM 5. WOO 6. BONK (just a few bucks for shits and giggles)
Bitcoin is doing fine but I'm sad about some alts For example ADA, ath was around 3 dollars and now it's hanging around 60 cents, it's not even close to ath. The same with other coins like VET, DOT etc. Will alt season really come or we should forget old projects? Is ir now everything about AI and memecoins? Actually I don't have so much gains, nobody what I hold pumped, I bought many alts in 2022 for higher price, then I did dca and this year I just break even from my loss, but now I'm going now again... Not going to sell but it's just sad that we have so much hype while many alts are still 1/3 from previous ath
I have 100,000 VET, hoping it can get up past that around .13-.15 mark in the next couple of months at least.
What is a coin that still has a good ATH expectation? For example, Litecoin's ATH is about 4x what it is now and it would be a rare sight to see it hit this ATH again at some point. What other alts coins have a similar of bigger upside when compared to their ATH? My main alt are VET and XLM which have a 5x and 4x ATH more or less.
ROSE, ALGO, VET now go fuck yourself
Anyone else rapidly losing faith in alt coins? Seems like every single alt either goes to shit, or rumors will spread about the project and everyone rushes to cash out, crashing the price and contributes to the actual downfall of the project. Everyone is so reactionary in crypto..... Even though I've made gains of projects like Solana and ETH, the amount I've lost due to seemingly legitimate projects like Celsius and Luna pretty much cancels that out. Only BTC and SOL from my holdings have really recovered in this "bull run". ETH is somewhat recovered, but still nowhere near where it was last bull run. I had made a profit on KCS, but now with rumors about Kucoin going down circulating people are selling off in mass out of fear, pretty much wiping out my gains in KCS. The rest of my alts like VET, ADA and LINK have never recovered even back to even my average buy price, and I'm starting to doubt why ever will. Sold most of my alts at a loss now, and considering selling ADA too since I don't know if it will ever actually recover. Seems like only BTC is a good bet now.....
I was thinking of getting out of VET. Guess I'll hold on a little longer.
I was thinking of getting out of VET. Guess I'll hold on a little longer.
I got some VET but it’s underperforming compared to AGIX/FET
New altcoin hype will be RWA this bull run. VeChain (VET) is well positioned for this.
RWA is the new hype. Have a look at VeChain (VET)
Walmart was actually experimenting with VET
ADA is about even for me. I’m usually like $.060 total profit lately lol. I regret it but yeah I’m too scared to sell that one. VET on the other hand is my biggest regret.
VET starting to wake up from it's month long nap.
VeChain(VET) is so ready for this new RWA hype. This will be the next altcoins bull run IMO.
People still thought VET and McD partnership is real
Red days are for buying, added more ADA, ALGO and VET. The future millionaire me will thank the collective genius of this sub.
Any of the legacy coins are doing quite bad next to MEMES. Echos of crying wankers ae heard in all these communities ada, dot, xrp, xlm, monero, VET. Personally I'm mostly in the VET camp since it's an underdog that I did not expect to not move much since it has an easy 10x
I believe ADA will for sure. VET as well. Bonk also. BTC will hit around 120k
Angered the VET bagholders you have 🤣
VeChain(VET) looks like ready for the next leg up!
Nice, im still holding a little VET. I’ve also expanded into a few riskier projects alongside the blue chip this time. Time in the market beats timing it.
You are destined to stay poor if not loading up on ADA, VET and ALGO
I'm actually impressed with VET as a project. In 2017 they were one of the most spoken about and shilled on here, even when they were still VEN as an ERC-20 token. In fact, they were so heavily shilled there was a period they were completely banned from being mentioned even in the daily! I genuinely thought the 2018 and 2019 bear had removed them forever... Here we are in 2024 and they are still going strong!
Buy TEL, VET, or FET. High potential coins. One was (not sure if still is) biggest p2p transfer, vet is related to supply chain management and was pocked up by walmart china ( dyor), fet is AI. Tad late to get into it but for its not like you can diverse much.
Got some more VET, BNB and Moons over the weekend, see it as easy gains long term.
VET(VeChain) in top 20 soon :)
VET can easily reach ATH(0.28$). I personally think it will peak between 0.65-1.00$
I sold my XLM but I’m here with you waiting on VET
I am just here waiting for XLM and VET to reach their ATH
Okay then, I’m still holding all my VET, do you think it could reach a new ATH late this year?
Because you bought the top, VET was a top performer in 2020/21 and it’s up 200% off the lows this cycle. Nothing wrong with VET
Worst performers for me are VET, ADA, Matic, DOT and Aave. Bought them all mid 2021 bull run and never sold at the peak. Rode them all through the bear market until recently swapping for new up and coming projects like Fetch AI, Kaspa and Zypto. I figured bag holding old coins from the previous bull run would probably only let me break even but swapping them for new coins MIGHT just give me a chance to 5x or 10x or whatever
VET’s lunch is being eaten by HBAR, unfortunately. I’ve been really disappointed with VET’s rate of enterprise adoption. I held it for years but last year I sold the last of it to go into HBAR
I still don’t understand why someone would hold Harmony, Algo ADA or VET and other ,yea yea I know and on top of all some will still act offended when someone tell them their coins are eternal losers that’s what I call some of these tokens , Hey if your coin will not move for years ,shit what are you waiting for? Trade for a good one man , I hold 12 different coins and is all good and dandy
Upcoming VEN partnership with BMW! Omg Louis Vuitton will use VET to authenticate their products!
> XLM and VET Those two follow a similar path. All three are ~5x to their ATHs from here. But yeah that ADA 2021 run was ridiculous.
Yea in 17/18 XLM and VET were in my bag, I wish I had put that in ADA when it was a penny
Was going through the comment section and you have missed the most crucial coin..... Fucking VET.
CMC says my worst one is VET. Still 50% down.
VET. V Chain. Bought at fuccccking .20 It’s down something like 84%. I bought $3K so its down thousands still
