HEC. Got unnecessarily destroyed due to its previous association to TIME and OHM, as it started as a reserve currency. What it did right is by using the rebase/bond model to raise 100m treasury, mainly held in stablecoins. It is now using these funds to fund new projects and revenue streams, including its algorithmic stablecoin TOR which works like UST, and a lending service. It aims to be a one stop shop in fantom, a very much up and coming chain and third biggest for funds locked behind Ethereum and terra. Apy is now a stable 300% and since minting their stablecoin burns HEC, the supply has been deflationary for some days now. The coin is over 90% down from its all time high. Take a look.

I just kick myself because it came out during peak euphoria in late November and I was chasing a bunch of bullshit (WAGMI, HEC, VVS)...luckily I ended up with a good position in ROSE and have kind of taken a break from crypto in general. Okay I get the farming fee liquidity. To me, that makes sense, because money is actually coming from somewhere. However diluting the coin/ token float should in fact lower the value of each token. In which case you’re not really seeing a 25% interest rate. If you have 100 tokens and you received 25 based on the interest I have no argument. But if you tell me the pool is being diluted AND the token is staying the same price, then I have a problem. Value is created from supply and demand. If the supply increases and the demand stays the same the price should go down. If the supply increases and the demand increases the price should stay the same. You cannot compare the US dollar and it’s inflationary properties to that of a cryptocurrency. They do not carry the same weight or importance. Or have an entire countries GDP backing it. I’ve been talking about HEC with a buddy and the way he explains it makes no sense how everyone who stakes will see x% increase. That value has to come from somewhere.

Yes it does sound like a pyramid scheme. That’s why I called it a degen strat. I only put like 1% of my portfolio into some of these, but I’m up 12x on TIME and pulled out half of that back in AVAX. Up 10x on HEC in the last week and rotated a lot back into FTM. Snowbank too. Get in early, let it shoot, pull profits back to main chain. Don’t fight the market.

After participating in all the fantom Ohm forks (EXOD, SPA, FHM, HEC) the most unique difference in this fork is the profit generation and sharing built into the token. In general, profit sharing tokens are more appealing than governance tokens with buyback (see SPELL vs. MAKR; ICE vs. UNI/SUSHI), which makes this fork more bullish. It's still early, and they will need audit's, community support, and live up to the roadmap, but this is a promising project that everyone should keep an eye on.
