But my XBT-USDT perpetual contract still charging me funding (since I went long) instead of paying me funding. Although I guess they don't want the price to go up per se, they just need to manipulate the funding rates to keep it as close as possible to the underlying asset. Must *twitch* resist *twitch* temptation *twitch* to lock in my loss *twitch* and go short instead, the second I do the price will start to go back up
Bitcoin Satoshis Sats BTC XBT
Bitcoin or BTC or XBT ??? Are they the same!! 😱😱😱😱.
Fun fact: The international standards organization dictates that a currency that is international begins with an x (Gold is XAU) so cryptos that wanted to adhere to this and appear legitimate, would begin with an X For example, bitcoin used to be XBT, there’s Xrp, Xlm
Kiyosaki’s Tweet: > "CRASH is here. Silicon Valley first dominos fall laying off 144,000 in 2022. 66,000 more 2023. VALENTINES DAY MASSACRE predicted by Stansberry Research. Everything will crash including prices gold, silver, BC. Do not panic. Good news. I will buy more G,S,BC, real money w/ fake $." I’m not gonna take advice from someone that doesn’t even know how to abbreviate Bitcoin (BRC, XBT) properly.
Yeah sorry. Messed up my XBT trade leveragd ratio.

XBT only CEX are not forbidden, no??
Yeah sorry I hope you didn't take my comment as being dismissive of yours! There's always the risk that we may see a new local minima. I personally believe that we have yet to see all-time max, but there's always the chance that I'm wrong about that, too. I only intended my comment to complement yours to keep things in perspective. Were we to see XBT go down to 12k, it's important to remember that on a timeline as short as the past 5 years, that's *still roughly 33% higher* than the previous high on that timeline. That's about what you would get from an investments that compound at a an annual rate of 7%, which is the figure that I use for conservative investment account projections. It looks even better if you calculate the moving average, but I'm not going to do that here. Just wanted to share that whatever comes for XBT, I don't think anyone should be all too concerned in the long run. Just remember to diversify (not with shitcoins).
In that case buy from Relai. It's registered in Switzerland, non-kyc (or soft kyc through IBAN/bank acc.), 900 Euro/CHF max daily - when non kyc-ed, otherwise pretty much unlimited, you can buy directly to the hardware wallet or node, DCA daily/weekly/monthly, 1% fee when DCA + min. 100 Euro + referal code ( you can use mine if you like: XBT) Alternative: [pocketbitcoin.com](https://pocketbitcoin.com) \- similar to Relai and also Swiss with high privacy standard
Buy at pocketbitcoin.com or relai.com via SEPA (soon instant payment implemented) . When you use ref. code (mine being XBT), DCA 100 ($€£) and use a standing order you only pay a 1% fee all inklusive. Max. payment per day 900 ($€£) and last but no least no KYC - or soft KYC (IBAN).
Great advice. I'm leaning more on the side of DO invest in altcoins though IMO. But, when the bear does come to convert most of that back to XBT/USD to have money to buy when prices go lower. You HAVE to do your own research though, not trust some youtube video that's using you as exit liquidity. Been in crypto since 2016 & I've learned the best place to make the most returns is altcoins. Especially the ISO20022 coins. I for SURE see a future in XBT though. I make my money off of alts, then put it back into XBT/BTC when it's the bear. Just my own opinion! It's always worked for me. Not saying it will work for everyone.
That is 100% correct. The abbreviation "XBT" comes from the International Standards Organization (ISO) that maintains a list of internationally recognized currencies. The standard dictates that if a currency is not associated with a particular country, it should begin with an “X”, hence "XBT". Another example of this is the abbreviation for gold, "XAU". Cheers, Kraken- Rosa
Why the F do Bloomberg tickers all have an "X" in front of the symbol? * Bitcoin = XBT * Ethereum = XET * Litecoin = XLC Some of them don't even make any fucking sense
It's clear the SEC lowered the bar for futures Bitcoin ETF so Bitcoin hating billionaires can short it https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/08/tyler-winklevoss-tells-bill-gates-how-to-short-bitcoin.html >"Dear @BillGates there is an easy way to short bitcoin," Tyler Winklevoss said in a tweet. "You can short #XBT, the @CBOE Bitcoin (USD) Futures contract, and put your money where your mouth is!" Any argument against the spot Bitcoin etf would apply against the futures ETFS too.

This is what I came for. Should be price in USD & XBT on the chart ;)
>Its quite absurd suggesting I would Buy 1 dollar of bitcoin at a time. 1 USD was used just for the sake of simpler maths. I am too stupid to follow. I still think you are spending double amount when you buy something for XBT and then buy the same amount of XBT. In short run it's just a gamble.
Interesting how you took the lowest number above when the range is 6-30% off of everything. Are you looking objectively at the numbers ? Lets go with your 6% regardless. Its quite absurd suggesting I would Buy 1 dollar of bitcoin at a time. Lets say I buy 500 usd on coinbase for 0.4% and withdraw for 1 usd = 3 usd in fees , than I use that BTC to make multiple purchases for 10 cents in total fees including loading the LN channel for a total of 3.10 usd in fees. The amount saved at 6% is 30 USD so I am coming out ahead. >What if ultimately XBT goes to the moon? What if ultimately XBT fails? Why does any of this matter? I spend and replace thus volatility doesn't effect me and I never have regrets when Bitcoin eventually appreciates in value. >I do not have certainty that XBT will succeed. Do you? No one can predict the future, but that is moot, bitcoin is very useful now for security, privacy , and saving money
How is it saving? Suppose you want to buy something worth $1. 6% discount for paying with XBT like you said. You but that with XBT so it is $0.94 (in XBT). Then you have to replace spent XBT - you buy $0.94 of XBT. Now you spent 2x$0.94=$1.92 for the item worth $1. What if ultimately XBT goes to the moon? What if ultimately XBT fails? I do not have **certainty** that XBT will succeed. Do you?
Tell that to the guys that paid 10k XBT for a pizza.
10,000 XBT pizza all over again.
That would be a good strategy if XBT replaces other currencies (fiat and other crypto) with certainty. Otherwise, you'll be paying 2x the price for everything.
Yep! XBT is way cooler than BTC
Wasn't aware of that! Yep I'm Team XBT too now 👍
BTC ticker was actually XBT before btw, and i prefer XBT
Yeah , and on XBT. I don't even know what that is.
Lmao RemindME! 30 Days "XBT<>24k"
If you still want crypto and stable coins BTC/XBT: Equivalent to ETF for crypto in terms of exposure to sector with less individualized risk. ETH: You clearly have faith in using random services, and they all derive from this. USDC: It’s more backed, reserve ratio wise, than the US dollar you hold in your bank or your pocket. Alts: Just that. Altcoins. Everyone is a gamble. Look at the top 10 every year, and the only two that lasted were BTC and ETH. It gets drastically worse if you do top 25, 50, etc. Don’t try to time buys, Use Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) Google it. Read the white papers, if you read the Terra one, you’d see a bear market and even a cooling of international finance would collapse the whole ecosystem. Learn from your mistakes, and good luck.
Making a decision about an exchange is a huge decision, so I laid out the pros and cons. All info OP needs if they decide to try primeXBT. Also wanted to make it clear I wasn't a shill so I made sure to list the downsides to the platform. That's all it is. The benefits and downsides to prime XBT. Only important info if you are looking for a new futures exchange.
Why? The X originally was from the “country code” X just like BTC used to be XBT
I have an app for tracking personal finance. Money Manager EX. Today I look at the currency list and they still have XBT at $10,200. Apparently it hasn’t been updated for years.
I tried looking up what you’re talking about. https://www.theregister.com/2022/01/19/craig_wright_bitcoin_sv_high_court_sueball/ is all I could find in addition to ( Bitcoin SV ) BSV references. I assume BSV is not BTC, XBT.
