My facts are not wrong or far from correct. Proof of reserves IS a type of audit. It is an audit of the cryptographic reserves. A 10-k on the otherhand is NOT a type of audit, it is a SELF REPORTING DOCUMENT that is based on 100% good faith and fear of the law. Do you know how many publicly traded companies that filled out 10-k forms were lying in the past? I'll wait here while you read about it. The truth is, Coinbase has never undergone any real audit proving the things they self report. Furthermore, they attacked the Bitcoin core development project in 2017. There is literally no justification for you to defend them. You should be defending companies that undergo THIRD PARTY VERIFICATION that they have customer funds, like Kraken.

It’s sad that the school counselors won’t actually tell these young people their options. Skilled tradespeople make a good living and EVEN MORE IF THEY BECOME SELF EMPLOYED AND OWN A SMALL BUSINESS. I greatly value education too but this system has nothing to do with true education and everything to do with creating a system of false limitations based on having a PIECE OF PAPER when the knowledge is practically free in a library or internet streaming open courseware like MIT, YALE, Harvard X etc. I play opencorseware FOR MY OWN PERSONAL GRATIFICATION and you can literally do an entire degree level course for free… but you can’t get the degree because you didn’t jump though the hopes and pay the fees. Sadly, you're right. It's the reason people fall for grifters and scammers. Most people say they want to be in control, but then they give up control because they're afraid of being responsible for their own actions. PLEASE LEARN SELF CUSTODY. It's so good to be safe. Choose a hardware wallet that is open source (not Ledger! Eff Ledger and their seed extraction firmware!). Let the wallet create a random seed phrase for you. Write it down on paper.
