Just trying to speed up the process of getting my life back in line nothing else man,i still have a 9-5 its just not as simple to restart when your countrys AVG salery is 500Euro as it is if you live in a country where they make 2k-3k .If someone helps they help if not then not i still wish them all the best in life ....
Well either cut your losses, buy lower to lower the AVG, or just grab a slim jim, and HODL
Only sold to get back in lower, got in above 100k and new to the scene been slowly working my AVG it down to 95k, XRP was quicker to the up so put it in that for a quick gain then to BTC 😁. Still working with spuds but that quick frost helped. I'm just waiting for that drop to splurge 😅
best and worst move done in one trade. Bought Sol at the bottoms of its peaks AVG per coin $28 USD end of last year. (23) swapped sol end of this nov for XRP i have upped what i’ve done but in one of the best swaps ive kinda felt like i sold sol short. XRP could boom but i also feel like sol could jump. Point of note: Don’t fomo.
Unpopular opinion: You dont need a new ATH to make real money. If your AVG price is around ALGO bottom you would be currently at 281% profit and I am choosing one of the worst performers xD
Bought 0.01btc today I have been buying btc consistently over the yrs and have no worries about the fluctuations. My average cost is well below the price now at AVG price of $40k+
Will they ask you all the info of all transactions to verify the average? If you DCA for 2 years buying daily , will they verify the AVG price of 700 transactions etc? What if you had some given to you or earned in some other way? It wasn't bought, and doesn't have a price associated with it? Will it just count the current price? Genuinely curious how taxing these work. Also I'm assuming it's the civilian responsibility to keep all records for taxing, but not sure if you don't have those records, how will they investigate if you are missing some record, or their ability to verify the records.
Unfortunately i agree with u/AInception here. I'll grant you that the AVG BTC mining cost can act as support in some cases, but when 94.454% of the coins are in circulation, miners have very little impact. BTC price is likely much more in the hands of whales reacting to regulation than anything else.
I sold all my "shovels" at AVG bit above $160
DCA daily… $100 for 3 years AVG price is 28k. I hope everyone prospers. ✌️ this sucked btw and took a huge toll on my mental health to achieve, I drive a 21 year old car, wear hand me downs from my bro, eat the same 3-4 meals ( meat from Costco is cheap so is pizza, and hot dogs. Why the f*ck is this making me emotional right now…idfk. It’s not easy, but worth it. It started cuz I got depressed and figured it was my only way to fight the fight. Wish you all success. Thank you for reading my story.
6 months is not the normal wait time it usually takes 30-90 days. 6 months last time happemed cause the covid -19 pandemic jammed everything up. BTC could pump any day now. I highly reccomend holding and waiting out this annoying zone of inactivity. Unless youre trading off the marginal volitility . I did ancouple times but i dont wanna risk my AVG position and buy toonlate after it pumps
I think they are completely different investments. One if very liquid other is very illiquid, you need to consider this. Also the holding costs of property is alot higher than btc, alot. One the flip side you can't do something stupid and get margin called or stopped out on leverage with property, well you can but it's alot harder to do. The price of a house doesn't have a 24hr 7d wk ticket symbol of its value like btc so fear and greed emotions are easier to contain. Also with real estate the real advantage is you can get 10:1 leverage at a reasonable interest rate for the average person. The AVG person cannot get 10:1 leverage on btc for 5.5% interest rate, I think that is the biggest advantage of real estate. Lots of big differences. Overall which one will outperform is anyone's guess
Re: running a full node, l’ve had one running for the last 5+ years on a cheap Windows laptop in a corner of my rec room, attached to a 1 TB SSD hard drive, and haven’t updated my version of Bitcoin Core since the initial installation. Re: malicious software, I just have a free version of AVG on there; my full node is just an altruistic contribution to the stability of the Bitcoin network. I guess your security needs all depends what you intend to use your node for.
AVG tells me your website is infected with malware
I bought 200$ worth at 67,500 because I got paid , highest buy yet it sent my AVG cost from 40K to 50K 🤣
Don't FOMO dude! Dollar Cost AVG it.
Ouch, sucks man. My AVG was about 40k as well after buying most right before the China fud dip summer 2021. Hodled for 2 more years, sold at loss, but it was a nice buying opportunity so had to take all out instead of more bank loans. Sucks, next time better luck.
Bro I had to sell like 70k worth of BTC with an AVG if around 40 k recently after years of holding and DA just a couple months ago to start a business lol so much pain.
I was on the same boat, put a lot in 2021 and when the crash came I was deep down in the red, the difference is that in the lows, I doubled down + dca, now AVG cost is @ 32k, however, stay strong, dca and you’ll be on the green soon. Best,
What? are you new to crypto? I bought at $2... Sold all mine around $319 if I remember correctly, invested 100s of thousands into my printer business (buying the warehouse and printers outright etc) and my AVG buy back price is around $49.. I still own similar amount of QNT, made stupid money from having my business out right own the property and will sell again this bull run.. I assume you are new to crypto, or last bull was your first... If you watch your bags pump from $7 to $380 and did not sell any, youve done it wrong. Learn for this bull run... Sell and buy back, even if QNT x10 from here, the investment opportunities youve missed from not selling at peak and then rebuying and or investing elsewhere would have cost you more... People put money into investments then can't be bothered to learn how to manage assets. Good luck, youll need it.
to those who have been DCAing during bear market - how well are you doing? Its starting to be kinda clear where are we standing. Which coins we managed to buy for a good AVG price and which ones not that much
should be 68k as this is current AVG ;)
CRO has been killing it the past month this is ridiculous. I just breached my AVG BUY PRICE
The value proposition completely depends on the supposed future meetings, I wouldn't get excited. The reputation seems damaged beyond repair. Also, its a big red flag for anyone holding BNB. Which will inevitably fail, like any company does (AVG 46 year life spans)
7 day view https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=now%207-d&geo=GB&q=Buy%20bitcoin&hl=en Agree with you it's a bit jumpy and they've used the least search day compared to most searched, rather than taking an AVG by looks of it
You're always sacrificing security when going faster in PoW. Sure there are a lot of exotic consensus mechanisms that advertise a fast finality but so does MasterCard. Ergo is compatible with pretty much all scaling mechanisms so whatever ends up being the most practical will be implemented. Plasma and chained transactions work well on a dApp level and greatly improve the UX. Weak blocks will do so on a more general level but personally for important transactions like say, staking your stablecoin savings on a dapp, a 2m AVG for a strong confirmation is fine.
I bought btc in at 2021 the road is long and though but one day I will be break even again. I dca every week AVG is 39500 and I own more than one coin at this time.
I used to recommend PC-cillin, then AVG. For some users Clam was a good options. These days Microsoft's Defender is comparable to the paid options so I find it difficult to recommend any of the 3rd party options. That said it's been years since I've seen an actual computer *virus*. These days the most common threat we see is phishing attacks, and the best defence against those is user education.
Yeah ive used AVG, Avast and both a good free alternatives.
Not selling my ADA at 6x my AVG buy price
Too many perfectly good free licenses out there. AVG/Avast being two of the biggest(they've combined companies).
I feel this. Got my AVG down to $0.77 and then said fuck it.
a memory just came back to my mind... not more than 2 months ago, I sold one of my first paid avatars for 50 moons. At that time, 50 moons were worth approximately 5 bucks I feel a but sorry for the buyer at the moment😅 ...but the I also remember that in the past 4 months, I sold approximately 3000 moons at the AVG price of $0.15 😅 so I guess I am sorry for me as well😅 *we are all in thus together guys, be safe out there*
Ah. I mean virus protection such as McGaffee or AVG. basically making sure your computer is protected from viruses and malicious software. These are good but I’m sure there’s better ones out there, best to do some research to find one you’d be happy with.
thanks for the tip. Using AVG as antivirus since I'm like 13. Won't change it anysoon.
*"So anyway, I started buying..."* Do none of you DCA? And I'm not talking monthly AVG, this is yearly. Presumably you're all in this for the *long* term future right?
>Ledger does not provide phone support, or support on Telegram or Whatsapp. This part go me even more. It's how AVG AV use to be. You sell a good product and then offer almost no support for it.
Thank god after 2 years my buying or free earning AVG is like 12 cents. Not idéal but with the 10 percent apy on defi I may offset it in a year if no bull
Well, alts didn't pump yet so you can allocate there, but the reality is that there are two option, or either goes up or down. If it goes up and you DCA lower amounts than before they will have missed the opportunity to keep accumulating at lower rates. If it goes down then more DCA and better AVG. The problem is that it's hard to time the market. It seem that we will see a correction eventually, but we never know. Maybe we go horizontal for months. Based on previous charts it doesn't seem impossible, maybe the dip takes 5 months who knows. The reality is that in the long term BTC will eventually reach ATH, I don't care about the price know.
Premium Malwarebytes? If not, I would install an AV. Windows Defender is alright, but I wouldn't rely on it. That's not so bad then. I was thinking like you had AVG/McAFee/Sophos or something like that all running. I personally use Sophos. It had stopped an infection on my WoW setup about a decade ago.
What were they doing when BTC was about 16k? How is that they AVG is 45k, it seems like they bought why to impulsive
DCA into BTC. Best strategy i ever tested is a RSI based DCA, with 3 different weights since we're not the SP500 and things move way more here. Set up your RSI, 114, weekly Decide your monthly amount (example here is 400$) and then: \- If RSI is above 52: *Don't buy* \- If RSI is between 52 and 50: *Buy with 0.25x of your monthly amount (100$), save the rest.* If RSI is between 50 and 49: *Buy with 1x of your monthly amount (400$)* If RSI is below 49: *Buy with 1,5x of your monthly amount (600$).* If you want to run a backtest i'll save your time, you would have started buying on the 10th of may 2022 slightly above 30k and these are the adjusted results: >!BTC ACCUMULATED = 0,22038 BTC TOTAL SPENT = 4.600 USD AVG. PRICE BTC = 20.873,04 USD AVG. SPENT MONTHLY = 418,18 USD CURRENT VALUE = 5.964,14 USD!< The average spent monthly would adjust with time, at the current values you would buy with just 0,25x the amount, but even after many harsh months the montly average is still close to the original monthly 400$ , will be less than that as it recovers with time. This way you can buy in any case, even if you expect a pullback you buy, if it drops you buy more, if it drops more you buy even more. If it keeps running from here then at least you bought a little bit, but not enogh, sadly this gives the best results if you follow it from the start of the bear market. It literally made me enter with 1,5x of capital at the lowest prices possible.
For sure, dude. I remember having AVG, Norton, McAfee, and Avast over the years depending on what my dad got a deal on. CPU hungry pieces of shit.
Yeah. ~ 8% down here and I started in late 2021 on this wallet with regular DCA. AVG of 30k.
I prefer dynamic DCA, but Instead of waiting big leaps I do it during dips, If I had money now and didn't have to wait a month to have money again, I would invest 50% now and wait a bit to see were we go, if we go to 20k, which seems possible I would invest the rest. I don't find investing x day of the month or week, If I did that my AVG would be too high right know I started buying crypto again in DEC last year, I wait a long time to invest but I did the right thing since everything was pointing, during 2022, that we will keep going down
It's like yours, I bought the last dip and not I have to wait a month for more fiat, and some of the coins I bought are down again. What keeps me strong is that I keep lowering my AVG buys, I might not buy at the lower point but at least the AVG is decent
my first crypto purchase, at 0.90 AVG hurts...
Best way is via relai app. (Swiss company) - no verification needed!!!! - Via bank transfere, Apple pay, google pay, Visa etc. - you buying into a Provided wallet were you hold your keys - you can also buy directly into your own wallet. Like a hardware wallet f.e. - min 1% Fees (considering saving transfere cost for shifting to your wallet its fairly low) - good for saving plans and kepping AVG.buying costs low Use this code and you save 0,5% on Fees. LRC OHM Klima ETH (bought at £2k AVG).
You forgot the part there you finally decide to add more at ATH and thus higher your AVG only to watch it go back down.
I'm at .9 AVG :( bought in last Oct and then kept buying even at 2 USD. Let it pump back to at least 1.5!
If u count accumulation, flat Line than AVG is 2 years before going up.
You should go as a [quant](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoYC_8cutb0) for Halloween. ((IP\*IC) +(CP\*N)) / (IC+N)= AVG IP= Initial Price Paid IC = Initial Coin bought CP = Current Price AVG = The desired cost you want N = Solve for N
The WWFT is not part of the GDPR (AVG)
Nah, this reads like they need to comply on the AVG (anti whitewash law). Am a Rabo user myself, and I did not get any messages.
>Avast Avast along with AVG are just crappy software , I'm sorry for your loss but you need better protection practices than just an antivirus. So from my understanding you use the same machine to access your wallet that has a healthy amount of money and to download any game/app that a "client" tells you to. Just my 2 cents but if you're a professional I'd suggest having separate machines and accounts for separate use cases.
DCA In / DCA Out. I kind of like the idea some have showed how aggressive to DCA In and Out based on the AVG current price of BTC. That way if it does go up, you still have some in to profit with.
If he had even free any of the free anti-virus software installed he'd be ok. Avast, Avira, AVG....
So yes, there is an inherent burden if you are transacting that much you will need to keep track of it. I use Koinly for what I do and it works for me, but I am not super deep into the space with LPs and the more nuanced assets. I definitely need Koinly though because I do mining so every payout I have is income, and then the fees are also a sale. So between Mining, Trading & Staking I have probably 5000 transactions for the year so far. I have recently switched to claiming my staking rewards and mining payouts weekly instead of daily to help with the high transaction count. Also the cost basis will have some effect on what your tax liability will be. I use FIFO but some will use LIFO, AVG cost, Highest first, lowest first. Whatever you choose I believe you need to keep across the board. To answer your question If I was claiming staking rewards daily then I would probably go with an Average Cost Basis if you weren't keeping up with the daily price on a spreadsheet somewhere, However my personal preference is FIFO I am not a Tax Professional or a Financial Advisor so this is not tax or financial advice. One thing I do to help me keep track of everything is I have my koinly account that I keep track of my "Tax Record" and then I have a spreadsheet that tracks my "Input Record". So on my Spreadsheet I might list the I put $1,000 into ETH @ 1K/ETH for a cost basis of 1 ETH for $1000.00 and then include my staking rewards in there so now I have 1.1 ETH for $1000 that I put into it. Then if i sold 1 ETH for 1100. My sheet would show I have 0.1 ETH @ 0 since I already pulled my Inital Investment (Input) out. This is more so to track my overall gains from what I put in vs pull out but I would never use that for a tax method. You can play fast and loose with your account method of choice to establish cost basis but that's more a decision between you and who you have entrusted to do your taxes. I am a CFO for my day job and file my own taxes, but a tax professional might suggest other methods depending on their experience with crypto. Hope this helps a bit!
Price reference for staked rewards will be determined at the time of receiving. Then from there your capital gains on selling will be determined by cost basis method you chose for all of your digital assets (FIFO, LIFO, AVG, etc ). So for example I used DeFi staking for CRO. When I claim my rewards whether to restake or straight to my wallet. The price of the rewards when I claim them would be my price reference. Ex. Buy 1 Eth @ $1000. (No taxable event) Stake Eth on chain or wherever. (No taxable event). Claim 0.001 ETH as reward when ETH has raised to $1250. (Taxable Event = $1.25 in income). Sell that 0.001 ETH when price is $2500 for $2.50 ( Taxable Event = $1.25 in capital Gains )(Not accounting for whatever cost basis of accounting you choose)
That's just as hilariously incorrect as saying every water leak is the same. Your faucet can be leaky or your city can flood. A data leak can be an employee accidentally deleting a few names in the database. That doesn't make any sensitive information public, but technically it's still a data leak under the AVG. Or a company could have all of the passwords of their users stolen. This situation sounds like the less serious version.
Im getting 0.1 at 500! AVG down on my 20 bucks i spendt all time high.. hope we all get rich from this!
Just to put things in perspective :D if OP decides to dump all his moons at an AVG price of 0.10$ he\`s banking in 20k. u/IHaventEvenGotADog have you considered cashing out?
What was the AVG time from ATH to bottom in previous cycles and Where are we now in that regards ? Anyone knows ?
Sounds really cool, provided it wasn't full of shitcoin assets lol, would be good to see the AVG price and unrealised gains/losses of a consistent DCA over multiple assets
"AVG-Token" ... Invests in the average of the market and performs 1% worse than the market... the 1% is for you. Easy passive income... xD
Yeah I know but the big money is in that buy. And I really need to lower my AVG .
Everything is AVG down at this point. So timing dont matter.. Just continue the normal DCA rutine.
Scan your phone with AVG Antivirus to see if Pegasus was installed. If you used a computer see if TeamViewer or any remote connections accessed your computer. Sounds like a hijacked phone or laptop. Never allow remote connections.
Sure you had your reasons. What were you AVG at?
My ADA AVG is 2. I held from may last year. Still haven't sold. I just have it on Celsius
AVG price was probably much higher. Still, that "average price bought" isn't reflecting his wins/losses. And regardless if it pumps or not, it won't affect the $800M debt refund. AFAIK El Salvador isn't investing in Bitcoin but rather using it to "bank" citizens (as they should do). Lastly, impermanent losses aren't losses (did someone heard that El Salvador cashed out his BTC?!? If not, those "losses" are impermanent). Anyways, Bloomberg is only trying to spin this whole story in their favor in order to let people believes that El Salvador lost millions of billions through their 2K BTC purchase (which makes no sense at all - but hey, most aren't fact checking and simply cashing Bloomberg's FUD).
I have long and short position for ADA. My long being at 2 dollars AVG (fuck me) and my short being 0,6 and below. I guess I am trying to hedge both side, and maybe Ill be fucked twice but at least I tried
According to the OP you are just an AVG redditor using the wrong term
Finally being able to really AVG down on LRC after going all in @3.42 feels good man! Bought more on Sunday and earlier today, under 1.70 avg now! Pretty confident Loopring will survive this.
I do too. Bought on Sunday and today (earlier in the morning before this "dip")... If it goes down further i will buy a bit more. Happy to have the chance to finally AVG down on my altcoin, let's hope it survives this lol.
Hit my AVG below 40k now
Yes but look at a larger time horizon. I’m old enough to know that the market on AVG returns ~8% a year when looking at 30 year time horizons and adjusting for inflation.
my AVG for DOGE is $0.1819 , so i can still avg down hehe. Well if it gets to .40 im taking profits i think
That's a shit idea tbh, if you'll need 4 years before you break even that's crap. Literally go flip burgers you'll make closer to double in profit over a year. Your not calculating BTC difficulty increasing, making 2k while BTC costs what it does, means jack shit if price moves 50% over the course of year meaning your AVG drops to Smth like 1k, and that's even if you time correctly when to sell and market doesn't shit itself completely. Eletricity, BB, will easily be more then 500 a year, he's being smart with his cash investing it passively and diversifying.
I hope so my Ada AVG is at 1.3.
This is an awesome write-up, well done. Now that some time has passed from your initial analysis what are your thoughts? Also curious how you view the competitive landscape? I am struggling to see clear advantages over other guilds such as YGG and AVG.
Oh please, Norton and AVG are viruses themselves
Getting a new Samsung laptop delivered next week just for everything crypto..and my investment accounts nothing else. Whats the best antivirus software to use without breaking bank...to make it as secure as possible. Years ago I used Norton and it was a right piece of shit, I changed to the free AVG antivirus and it was 100 times better...us this still true.im out of date on these things unfortunately.

Yesterday on the Fantom blockchain: Total TX: 1,049,799 AVG Block Time (TTF): .90s Total Blocks: 95,636 New Wallets: 9,925 Total Value Locked: $9 Billion Besides Solana, are there any other L1s doing these kinds of numbers?
If you add up all the placed buy orders on Binance you get the following: Total BTC ordered: 7500 Value in USDT: 230 million AVG buy price: $31k I know buy orders come and go (spoofing), but this does tell me that there is a strong likelihood that $30k is the floor.
I'm overinvested in btc with a AVG @56K .
my AVG is like 28.99
DOT a good buy now you think? I want to AVG down.
Honestly, it isn't bad, way I see it, whoever is left after this I'd bet, people will realise, crypto is like Forex or gambling, there's money to be made lost, but in reality everything in regards to crypto is really just massive bullshit, no use no projects, and no future. I'm saying this because crypto can be manipulated prob easier then any other financial markets, as there's no chance AVG people follow news and base their decisions to pull out or buy in on some nonsense, yet seems, it's easily manipulated, to make it move anyway.
People here are mainly talking about POS causing centralisation & skimming the articles I found this point repeated verbatim: >With a proof-of-stake system, the more coins you have, the more voting power you have, and those with the coins are also the ones earning the new coins from staking. Since they don’t need to expend resources to stake, they can simply increase their overall staking amount as they earn ongoing coins from staking rewards, and exponentially grow their influence on the network over time, forever. Network dominance tends to lead to more network dominance, in other words. This is of course in theory. And that theory is mirrored in bitcoin. Bitcoin mining turns a profit (otherwise no one would do it) so miners can invest their profits in more mining power and thus slowly take over the network. Proof of stake turns a profit (otherwise noone would do it) and miners can reinvest that into their staking to turn a bigger profit and thus slowly take over the network. These two things are equivalent, just bitcoin does it with more steps - bitcoin rewards are bigger to offset the electricity costs but the profit is what remains. The profit per miner finds an equilibrium where it would be equivalent to invest the money elsewhere (e.g if your BTC mining rig turns a 1% profit but you can invest your BTC elsewhere and turn a 2% profit, the BTC mining power will go down til the AVG profit is 2%). That opportunity cost of the money being locked up in mining hardware / buying electricity is exactly the same opportunity cost of the coins you would stake in POS. Bitcoins extra steps just mask the fact that the same thing is basically going on.
Are those hundred dollar gas fees specific to ERC-20 tokens? I only have transactions from the ETH mining pool to my wallet and this is my 3 month average: Avg transaction: 0.123ETH AVG gas fee: 0.001754ETH (1.44%) AVG cost: $5.47 @ current ETH price.
Napkin math. 195 billion GDP. Tax rate lowball AVG 20% income/corporate/sales combination. Approximately 49 billion a year. They are going to spend at least 70% of that on governance and services. So approximately $150 million in Bitcoin a year.
AVG OF 550 per user :DDDD and there is me with 45… (cries in low-moon)
I personally ditched AVG quite a while ago. Kaspersky is (imo) much better and less resource intensive as far as free AV goes. (Not financial advice xD)
It was just my regular exchange app on a tablet. Some random address which wasn't mine showed up after I scanned my own QR code. The device is chinese made and a little outdated which puts me off a bit but maybe I'm being paranoid. I also have the free AVG on there but that won't stop everything. I think I'll stick with desktop app next time to be sure.
''Cyber Crime Sindh through social media and disclosed about at least 11 mobile applications namely MCX, HFC, HTFOX, FXCOPY, OKIMINI, BB001, AVG86C, BX66, UG, TASKTOK, and 91fp that these applications have stopped working over a period of time and have defrauded Pakistani people of billions of rupees.'' How about using safe apps? Maybe that will not get you scammed. Like wtf.
