OMG! So many hyped shitcoins from this era that went nowhere. QTUM, ELF, WAVES, ARK, DENT (how does this still exist?), SNT, CVC, LOOM, ARDR… anything ranked 300+ that used to be top 50 is pretty much dead.
I’ve come to terms with it. But I learned that if you are invested in non bitcoin crypto you need to keep your ear to the ground, you can’t just HODL and walk away. There are a lot of other crypto’s that I have a hard time with too. I had a bunch of ARDR that only could be stored in an NXT wallet. ARKs old IO was great but you had to enter your seed phrase anytime you wanted to transfer money. Neo has changed so much since it was called Antshares. I also just spend my whole day relearning how to upgrade it to N3. I had a bunch of DNA that didn’t even have a wallet made up for it. So I left it on an exchange from NZ. That exchange doesn’t even exist. There we’re so many weird things to do with so many coins, that I just turned most of them into bitcoin, luckily most of them were slightly in the green from back then. The one I haven’t turned into bitcoin are stored on an exchange, they do everything for you, however you still have to pay attention to anything they delist, or if the exchange just goes under.

You are one of the few that has talked about XCAD. Got into it last year, and I am looking at it, coupled with some other gems like MATIC DOT SYS even ARDR for an amazing run this year. They all are brewing up for a massive leg up
LOL, my portfolio is not fucked up though, I only expected more. It all depends on you choice of assets. My XCAD, MATIC FTM SYS even ARDR are still looking strong with some decent gains on many of them already. Bee patient and hold if you've got the right gems

I got in right after the dip and honestly had no idea what I was doing and I had 0 patience. I bought at rock bottom prices and sold after 20% increases. Sold LUNA for £5 after buying at 4, sold my ARDR and ANKR for pennies more than when I bought. I look at the prices now and laugh.

You’ll never pick the winner, and if you do you wouldn’t put enough money in it to do anything. 5 years ago nobody would have put 100% of their portfolio into DOGE and been taken seriously. It’s the shit coin of shit coins, but it’s currently my best performer, unfortunately I only put a few bucks in it as a joke.

Ardor (ARDR). Decentralized smart-contract platform from Jelurida, the creators of NXT, which were the first ones to implement Proof of Stake. It has child-chains as a scalability solution, messaging and cloud services. The wallet is really nice as well, however they don't do much marketing at all and it's at place #212 with $280m market cap.

Horribly put together by the devs, they encouraged scams, and allowed an insider whale to buy up the entire amount of IGNIS before the time they told the public that the swap was happening. We were set up by the devs to fail. It was a learning experience that made me upset for a couple of hours, luckily I got over it quick and learned to do my research before investing in garbage projects. I tell people to stay the fuck away from NXT, ARDR and IGNIS every chance I get now. The team behind it are probably planning there next get rich scheme as we speak.
The best example of good tech not winning is NXT. Never heard of it? Well, it launched in 2013, it is POS, from 2016 it has smart contracts, it has asset (nft included) support from launch, it has a dex running, it has a messaging system in place which means it can be used as a file storage, ot has .02 usd transaction fees, it is capable of sustained 100 tps. And it had all that (but smart contracts) in fucking 2013. Lets think what crypto was like in 2013, 4th december 2013 is the first time on wayback machine that shows nxt on coinmarketcap. It was 12th out of 43 coins, btc was at 1120$ and it would not go much higher until 2017. Nxt serves as a basis for Ardor (ARDR), that is what dot tries to be. It is a single chain with other chains connected. Each child chain has its own assets and protocol, and beind connected to ardor secures it and allows swaps between child chains. So yeah, best tech not always wins, nxt had close to 7 years now and is a rank 779 coin.
I like Tron, chiliz both cheap also Cardano, even though the coin is £2.60 ADA I think could be over £100 a coin by Jan 2022 But Tron is I think like 9p a coin you can stake the coin also to increase your profit, I've 900 Tron (TRN) and I've seen it rise up a fair bit in 5months Last one is ARDR, it's Blockchain is a thing of beauty and very cheap, and I think a good choice but I would say crypto is a longer term thing, if say in a short time span you cash out I think in a year or 2 you will regret removing the crypto, we are in a good period for making money. A tip too if the market drops it's time to buy !....
I missed IOTX this run, had it around 2 weeks ago and sold it at 0.02. It is now around 0.1 , but i missed it. I’m looking out for CELR and RVN mostly but following MATIC C98 ARDR XED NANO and BAN as well

Four low-cap crypto assets are surging, up 90% or more over the course of one week. As Bitcoin recovered this past week and summited $40,000 again, four altcoins jumped wildly in price, coming off their recent lows. The first crypto asset making a strong rally is blockchain-as-a-service provider Ardor (ARDR), which holds a market cap of roughly $233 million. The altcoin made significant gains from a seven-day low of $0.14 to a high of $0.35, according to CoinGecko. The move marks a 150% surge in just one week. ARDR is still down from its all-time high of $2.04. The second asset turning in big gains this week is Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA), which holds a market cap of approximately $863 million. Sirin (SRN). I bought at $0.40 and now it's less than 1 penny and virtually illiquid (to me at least). Honorable mention: Ardor (ARDR) and Reddcoin (RDD). I'm only out a few hundred on those coins, but at least I'm in the black with crypto overall.
I love NXT for being first, but Ardor is now the crown of Jelurida's ecosystem, methinks. I do still stake some NXT but I own more ARDR now, and ARDR has far more going on.

I like VET and think it's a good long term project. I think it'll hit a doller eventually. Obviously BTC and ETH are the safest to buy and hold overall. I think BNB is overvalued for what it is, but Binance is incredibly popular and ain't going anywhere, so doubt it'll tank either. Not familiar with ARDR.

Ones that died include PPT, STRAT, BTS, ARDR and HC. Otherwise not as much change as I expected.
Some use snapshots of the chain and reward holders of a particular token. In the case of ARDR it will already be compatible with their wallet. So it can be freely distributed. Some can use smart contracts which allow purchase by sending to a specific wallet address , again on that platform you can set it up an asset exchange where people can purchase. You can do it manually and bulk transfer to many account keys at once. Or programmatically. The real key is getting people to setup wallets to receive it if you are wanting a custom distribution.
Why don't you use a service that already provides the service rather than dealing with the security of your own. ARDR network can do this quite easily, and programatically should you wish.
It peaked at 20k then went fairly volitile for about 2 weeks. During those two weeks people were saying it was just another correction/accumulation stage before the 'big run up' to 50-100k, but then it dropped like a rock. After that it was a death by a thousand cuts for the next 2-3 years. Keep in mind there was WAY more euphoria during the 2017 bull than there is now. The alt run was truly insane. Coins were going from $1 to $30 within a 3 week period. Nearly every coin in the top100 pulled atleast a 10x. Go look at the historical charts for some of the 2017 coins like ARK, WTC, ARDR, KMD. You'll see a ridiculous spike on them all. Half of r/cryptocurrency became crypto rich seemingly over night...the vibe was insane and totally all consuming. I think it will happen again (all speculative markets run on these cycles), we're just not quite there yet. Soon ™

Bought in for $1000 june2017 and had miners running by September. I used profits from my original buy-in to get the miners. Had 3 profitable ASICs running at one point. I got lucky and made $100 a day for about 50days off one mine I paid $1500 for. Cashed out several thousand trading also. So I did very well 2017-2018 according to my expectations but lost .3 BTC on cryptopia and the coins I stocked up on lost 95% of their value over the last 3 years... I still have them lol. So it's been fun I ended up with .5BTC and 10+ very heavy bags lol(SYS,ARK,LISK,DGB,VTC,ARDR,ect). I did mined 2000 DERO coins with one of my miners and have just sat on those.🤑🤑
