It's still worth getting in on any coin you're bullish on. Go look at the date of when BTC chart when it hitting $19,000 for the first time last run, which was the end of NOV/beginning of DEC 2020, and then look at where alt prices were at that point. SOL: $2 (bull market peak $250, a 125x) AVAX: $4 (bull market peak $130, a 30x) ADA: $.15 (bull market peak $2.85, a 20x)

I had too much in. I was only doin 25 bucks a week, but got a little greedy. Now, I take home triple what I was making back then and still no matter what, I'll add about 1-2k a month. I remember bein so pissed I had to sell, but eventually (NOV 22), I was able to get a bid assigned at 14,750 and was havin orders filled in that channel between there and 18k. I ended up with more BTC than I sold to cover expenses. Overall, just keep on stacking. Some of it will double, triple, quadruple etc, but its like snowball effect, once you get a fair amount, you start to see some pretty heavy movement with respect your gains vs principle. Just keep adding. Results will show themselves... Another thing, continually adding will motivate you to earn more money. If you feel like you want more, you've gotta earn it. If you feel like youre running outta time, maybe get some OT, or ask a raise. You could be on your way to doubling your stack in no time. HODL but dont starve. Miss opportunities outside. At this point I'd be happy if I break even on my ALGO and DOT bags 😭 I'm in the green on ETH and BTC again but my alt bags are still very very very far down. Gotta hit a sweet 3x from prices today (09 NOV 2023) to break even on my DOT bag, and a cool 4x on current prices on ALGO to break even. My cost basis is ~14k, id like to see close to 30k before I get out completely. Luckily, as far as my BTC and ETH bags go, already in the green. At the peak of next run (I'm thinking like Q4 2025) those bags alone may make me profitable on my overall investment. But we will see.

Works like this - First of all, there is only one platform you can do this with in the USA, that's LedgerX - others will suggest Deribit etc but none of them are CFTC regulated, you cannot legally use those if you reside in the USA. So that's the first thing. Second, getting call exercised causing a tax event. Example - 1BTC committed (Current value $27k) Sell 100 NOV 30k call contracts against that 1BTC (1BTC=100contracts) - receive $700 Possibility A - by Nov 24th BTC is below 30k and calls expire worthless - you keep $700 Possibility B - by Nov 24th BTC is over 30k and calls get exercised - 1BTC sold at 30k. You now would sell BTC puts against that $30k to buy back the BTC. So the risk is that your calls get exercised. For example, in option B, if BTC spiked to $40k by Nov 24, you still have to sell at $30k. So I only sell calls against a portion of my BTC, so I get the benefit of the spike on the 90% of BTC I don't sell against, and get income on the other 10%.

LINK holding quite well considering its made 70% gains from the bottom. All previous= instances in this year long resistance was met with a really quick and violent sell off near the tops. We are not at the top of the range but we are at resistance. There's a cheeky trendline that starts NOV 8th 22 to April 18th 23. In all likely hood we make another move, about 17%, to the 9.65 resistance area before this move meets heavy selling. The positive this about this move it that we have been in a steady dip buy run. Previous moves were quick and violent up. For me I'm assuming the dip will continue to be bought until it isn't. That means holding. 6.775 needs to hold or the dip buying is over.

I’m not so sure. It’s important to remember the 2017 top was around BTC Futures launching.. then the April 2021 top was the Coinbase IPO launch.. then the OCT 2021 top was BTC ETF, shortly followed by the Crypto Tax legislation which produced the final top in NOV 2021. Given these past examples we should be cautious that Blackrocks Spot ETF is signaling another local top here. Personally I’ve been looking at this as a strong bear market rally with the downtrend to continue this week or next. I have laddered Buy orders stacked from 13,800 down to 6,500 incase we get Capitulation candles.

Okay I’ve read through the general consensus of the comments section and will provide an update on my behalf. First of all I already have enough BTC to pay off the 10% APR loan if I wanted to. I have approximately £1000 spare every month after living expenses including paying off current debts. I will have another £200 ish a month spare in a few months, I will be £500 a month better off in NOV 2024 when one of the interest free loans is paid off. I live in a low COL area, above average salary and I don’t really spend much on myself, other than the car and recent house purchase. I am for the most part frugal with my money and do not feel stressed with the debt I have currently, as it is well within my means to pay off monthly. As much as I agree 10% APR is on the higher side and would be a lovely guaranteed return, if I look at this logical I am struggling to see this outperforming bitcoin in the next 5 years. Even if it takes bitcoin 5 years to reach its prior old all time high (which I think most here would say that is an extremely conservative assumption), that investment strategy would outperform the car overpayment. Ultimately even if bitcoin went to 0, I would still be able to afford my monthly payments. Please do correct me further if you think I am deluded, but to me this seems like a financially sound move given the risk/reward here.

Bottom has hit it usually happens 1 year from the all time high that day was in nov at 60k BTC I said it would drop to a bottom around 14k it hit 15.5k so 1500 off isnt to dam bad. also looking at 2013-2014/2015, 2017-2018, and now 2021-2022 seems it happens 1 month sooner the 2013 BTTC peak was following 1 year and 1 month later in Jan for the bottom in 2017 the run bottomed 1 year later in dec of 2018 now we see 2021s bottom in 2022 in NOV. Jan will be a turmoil month but once we hit Feb its sideways and slowly up from here into the peak of 2025. If you zoom out, just 2 years ago in NOV/2020, bitcoin's price was essentially the same as today, around 16k. No reason to panic at all. I think it's very likely that we'll see a bitcoin bull run in 2023. Just keep DCAing if you can.

I gotcha that’s a great explanation thank you! So my question is this- Do you expect prices of stocks and crypto to keep dumping even more on NOV 2? And beyond? Would you personally recommend buying more now or waiting until things “bottom out”, and if you recommend waiting, what is your “signal” for that “bottom” or when to start accumulating again? When things start to go up? Or when rates are lowered ?? Which could take years ?? Like would it be smarter to wait until after NOV 2 or even beyond to start accumulating BTC/Stocks at lower prices ? Should we wait until they finally start to balance/ raise rates again? Or is there a different indicator you would suggest looking at as well? Made the mistake late NOV of jumping in and throwing the 1.5k I had (and was prepared to lose) at ETH/BTC/AVAX. Have tripled that on the way down over the last 4 months and I’m only 15% from breaking even, but wish I’d DCA’d that $1.5k over a month or 2, and certainly didn’t have a chunk to gamble at the eventual bottom. Happy to do max $50 per buy now as who knows what it will do next.

You think the bull is still on? I don't. All charts look like NOV was a blow off and we've seen steady downward trend since then. I've been assuming we are in the bear for a while and maybe even near the bottom. Not that it will flip any time soon. As you do, I also expect some panic crashes and maybe even a 20k BTC for a brief window, but for the day to day average price I think we are near the cycle bottom. We've seen ridiculously strong support at 30k. That's when the whales come out and load up.

If you’re up double digits take some profit before there are corrections. Steep rises mean steep falls. I’ve sadly learned this lesson in NOV when Saitama spiked. For a few hrs I was up nearly 10k

I remember reading somewhere else that Israel expected to have some vaccine data on 5 DEC but I didn't see anything in the news today.
