AI needs a lot of high bandwidth memory. It doesn't work so well, decentralised over a WAN. So I'm skeptical. The DePIN narrative is much more compelling, with projects like DIMO and Hivemapper actually selling hardware, and Streamr (DATA) providing the backbone.

More advanced tips: Use Linux or even a tool like Tails for crypto, never mix it with your general browsing Secure 2FA like TOTP or Yubikey, no SMS/email for 2FA Lockdown your router, use prosumer grade kit, pentest that sucker from the WAN. Segregated networks through vLAN for administration and crypto with firewalling. No WiFi for sensitive vLANs. Firewalls at OS level too (UFW for Linux is easy) No root login over SSH, or dispense with protocols like SSH altogether Use outbound blocking rules through something like PiHole Do your own recursive DNS, Unbound plays well with PiHole Host your own email server

This! All this is just going full circle back to early 00's. Remember that time, when the Internet was full of website spawning like mushrooms full of malware, lurking on typos, early search scam and domain capturing to lure you in for scamming or infecting your computer. Man I remember that friends call me to examine their slow PC, which I found to have 1000s of viruses, trojans, scareware, adware, searchbars, dialers, worms... Everything Decentralise the Web my ass, this is just another WAN outside the charts, like what some like to call dark Web. The only REAL benefactors will be for malicious threat actors, child porn spreaders and illegal trade. Get real lol, it's nothing new, just a new way to create a wide area network outside of the Internet.

Usually, it is not a good sign when dead alts from the past (e.g. NEO, QTUM, WTC, IOST, WAN, QKC) are all pumping at once. I seem to recall this usually happens before a market dump.

Even the main concept of internet dying would only stutter it for a few weeks. Any networking would reestablish the chain, whether private WAN interlinking (aka internet again in principal just without ISP), point to point mesh, or there is satellites and radio bands that can carry transactions. People would just buy equipment and build private owned ISPs, it would be just weeks to buy hardware and start linking back up. I really think only if it was a sudden cryptography failure would there be risk, too fast to patch and roll out to miners/nodes, and whoever cracks it would pilfer so many wallets that nobody would really own it anymore and that would put people off it. But at that big of a crossroad we would be able to fork to a "new bitcoin" with the different keying and rollback. It would be a massive event and maybe crash in value or split the community again, but if it was that big I think it wouldn't really be a fork or cause divide if that much of a majority was affected.

We are just getting back to where we were before FTX imploded. I'd exercise some caution and hope we don't have any more major implosions. IMO, we need better regulatory clarity in places like the US before we see a real bull run. 2022 gave retail and institutional investors financial PTSD. As far as altcoins, my 2 cents... ZOO from ZooEcosystem (no affiliation with Logan Paul at all). * Expected to list on more exchanges soon. Already on Wanswap (WAN), Trader Joe (AVAX), Pangolin (AVAX), and Bitrue (liquidity issues) * Launching ZooGames multichain platform in the coming weeks/months. Basically Steam for Web3. Allows users to sign up with almost various crypto wallets (EVM compatible) or Web2 services like social media, email, etc. * Launching 2 games in the coming weeks/months: * ZooNo (similar to Uno with added features/twists) * ZooRacers (Battlekart game for PC/Mac/Android/iOS developed by game developer Yggdrazil) * More games being hinted at.

I started during the 2017/2018 cycle right before the crash, I'm talking late-November/early-December and watched it all go down as my first experience in crypto. What I'll say is to focus on strong projects, your crypto portfolio should have 50% bare minimum in safe assets(BTC/ETH). If you're trying to get into alts during a bear market, locate diversified ones with strong teams/communities. Half of the alts I went into in 2018 are nowhere near their ATHs(XVG, NEO, ICX, WAN, XRP, XLM, NANO, REQ, QSP, etc.) Once you find ones you have a strong conviction in, DCA downwards on them as well as ETH/BTC. Seeing BTC down to 3500 and ETH down to 85, you'd be screaming at yourself that you didn't go in harder. Never put in more than you're willing to lose. This cycle has LP farming & staking, so you can use those to hedge a bit. Lastly, HODL and stop staring at your portfolio every 15 minutes.

It sounds good but as has been mentioned, it doesn’t add any use case or value to the coin. I follow Wanchain quite closely and the Wanbridges are 100% trustless and transfer assets, data and commands, they use WAN to over collateralise the cross chain transactions. They also have a direct bridge between BTH and ETH, which been POW won’t be compatible by the sound of it.

Zookeeper on Wanchain started out as a DeFi gamified yield farming D’app giving dual rewards to Wanswap DEX pools for BTC, ETH, XRP, WAN & others. This year they’re evolving into the worlds first cross chain gaming platform, hosting multiple play2earn games. They’ve partnered up with a huge gaming company and the first game will be ZooRacers Battle Karts, a mash up between Mario Kart and Fortnite expected Q2. It will be free2play play2earn, available on mobile and PC. Here’s a teaser👇 https://youtu.be/8E-1W6sCco0 There’s lots of gaming projects coming up from members of the community and anyone can create a game on there. Their decentralised NFT marketplace, OpenZoo is up and running where you can get in early on all new projects and other stuff. Including Zookeeper’s own Zoogenes, which are a pixelated 2D NFT with various attributes which will become a 3D in game character. And ZooBooster NFT’s which currently can be added to yield farms to boost rewards up to 80% will also be used in games. Minting NFT’s cost around $0.001 and transactions about $0.00001 on Wanchain Zookeeper has a tiny community at the moment just living on Wanchain, Avalanche will be their first cross chain destination next month followed by BSC, ETH & others. Compared with Axie, it will have multiple top quality games as opposed to one shit one. No barrier of entry as opposed to expensive to get started and on multiple chains as opposed to just one. With just a $5m marketcap this one really is a 1000x gem. TA won’t work with this one as it’s still just a fair launch yield farming d’app on Wanchain. It’s all about fundamentals and prior knowledge of them. 😉 DYOR, there’s heaps of videos including tutorials on their YouTube channel which can be found on the official site 👇 https://www.zookeeper.finance/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/zoofarming/status/1496756891007217665?s=21

You all delusional people need to educate yourselves and learn that unless there's a separate physical infrastructure for Blockchain, any Blockchain, blocking the existence of possibility to use any crypto asset is "few" lines of code away. Just block all protocols dealing with it on WAN and bye crypto. Why don't they do it, a memer would say - implying how we the free are the powerful and dread inducing to elements of power? Because elements/centers of power are treating it as experiment. They will not kill it, but gradually direct the development by periodically putting out coordinated batches of regulations and "attacks" on elements that aren't confirming to their vision that ultimately bottom-lines to taxing crypto and taking a piece of cake. While you talk about aPeS and scream at your preferred online square, like that Talos devote from Skyrim, they plan and implement actual actions. "China banned crypto AgAiN, hAhA how sTuPiD they are, let me make some memes at r/cc and get moons, that will make me a millionaire". No it won't. No they're not stupid. If you fail to realise why - read this comment again. Majority of crypto users on Reddit are just spewing out bullshit and hopes that their irrelevant amount of crypto is the way to get rich. My router shows data transfer metrics/counts for the WAN connection (upload and download counts), and the node has its own counts (at the node's OS). The WAN upload count (at the router), and the node's upload counts were very close (within 2GB, or around 1%). There are other devices on the network sharing the WAN connection, and all of them would be more taxing on download rather than upload. Radio waves... which are connected to a LAN/WAN (local or wide area network) that handles the processing of the radio waves data, then would if we're talking about an existing chain like Doge still make it's way back to the internet at some point to validate blockchain transactions, prices etc. StarLink is radio waves, 3-5G is radio waves... WIFI is radio waves..., none of this is new, or ground breaking... rural and off grid regions already use combinations of these different technologies to relay to one another and then ultimately get back to a ground station that would connect to the internet. If it does not get back to the internet, then it's not Doge, it's some regional offline local network doing it's own chain over local wireless super centralized... kind of pointless.

So it's not a WIFI network. It is a WAN but it is using a RF signal tech called LoRaWAN, and is intended to supply small bandwidth IoT devices with a network so they don't get raked over the coals to transmit data over wi-fi. As far as hotspot density in your area it can definitely be an issue, and is affected by was is refferd to as Reward Scaling. The network is broken down into layers of Hexagons and if your hexagon overlaps another hotspots you will be scaled accordingly. This sounds worse than it is but is something to keep in mind. My hotspot in Miami is in a very popular area but is scaled to maybe .8

LINK - It's the oracle that supplies data to most of the big name blockchains in the cryptosphere. Need I say more? Also, TIXL looked promising when it launched. I lost it's clue, but I'll see what's up with it. It basically proposed a model that'd not only lower transaction fees through the use of its own network as a middleman of sorts, but also offered interoperability between blockchains. I think it is more or less similar to what WAN is trying to do. There are other promising projects, such as MATIC (de-fi, scaling), XMR (privacy), NANO (payments) and HBAR. I remember XLM was also huge promise not long ago, but it seems it lost a lot of steam and there's no more interest in it.

Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash and Doge of course are all overvalued. One project I think is hugely undervalued is Wanchain. Porbably one of the most undervalued projects in crypto right now. It was extremely hyped in 17/18 and unfortunately bad timing around the release and crash caused the price to plummet. That hasn't stopped Wanchain from building and delivering on their promise though. Probably one of the few ICOs from back then that has actually delivered. Earlier this year Wanchain launched the world’s 1st decentralised BTC-ETH direct bridge. They also have decentralised bridges to Moonriver, Avax, XRP, LTC, and bunch of others (Polkadot on the horizon), enabling all of them to "talk" to each other and transfer assets and data across chains. That means I can bridge my BTC to any of the other chains and use it in their DeFi dApps, allowing me to for example take a loan against my BTC so I can get exposed to more projects without losing exposure to BTC. The near instant transactions at at fraction of a cent are nice as well. I truly believe interoperability will be the next huge thing in crypto. It's needed for true adoption. And Wanchain is so far ahead of the game it's ridiculous. As of the time of writing, most-if-not-all other blockchain interoperability projects are either centralised, semi-centralised or still on Testnet. Wanchain is fully operational and decentralised. Unfortunately they focus more on the tech and not enough on marketing, but they have started to become more active now. At 210 million max supply and 190 million of those already circulating and only $0.9 per token right now, WAN is set to explode at some point when supply shock hits.

Just ask the people that bought the top on XRP, XLM, WAN, GVT or dozens of other alts last in 2018 how well ‘just hodl’ is going for them. I said it today already and I’ll say it again: just hodl works for Bitcoin is a viable strategy for Bitcoin, it isn’t a viable strategy for alts with the possible exception of ETH, but even that carries significant long term risk.
